Property Site Editor: Where Every Design Setting Lives

Your property page is a full website, and everything about how it looks is configured in the property editor (Manage → Edit listing). This article is the map: which tab holds which control, and — more importantly — which control to reach for when you want to change something you see on the page.

The two halves of the editor

The editor has a left rail and a right panel.

Left rail (pages) — one entry per page of your site: Home, then any tabs you've added (Local Guide, Blog, FAQ, custom tabs), plus + to add a new tab. Click a page to open its settings in the right panel and preview it in the middle.
Left sidebar (content) — the Space, Arrival guide, and Settings groups hold your content: photos, amenities, pricing, house rules, check-in, and so on. These describe your property; they don't decide the design.

The most common mix-up: hero layout, hero photos, focal point, text placement, overlays, medallions, header style, and intro animation are not under Photos. They live behind Home in the left rail.

Home → the right panel

Click Home in the left rail and the right panel opens with four sub-tabs across the top:

Page	The words: site name, tagline, description, location line, and the sections shown on the home page.
Brand	Logos (header, expanded/hero, secondary, favicon), Header style (the sticky navigation bar), Intro reveal (opening animation), typography (fonts + hero text sizes), brand colors and page background, and the footer.
Hero	The top of the page: Hero layout (Full bleed / Billboard / Collage / Carousel), Mosaics, hand-picked Hero photos with per-slide focal point & zoom, and Text & style — content placement, hero overlay & strength, eyebrow/headline, location & tagline toggles, hero badges, and (for the Medallion placement) every medallion option.
Contact	Public contact details and social links shown to guests.

Everything you change is reflected in the live preview in the middle. Switch the preview between desktop and mobile with the device toggle above it.

How the hero fits together

The hero (the top of the page) is built from three layers, each with its own control. Knowing which layer you want to move is what makes the fix a one-click change:

The photo layer — which photo(s) show and how each is cropped. → Hero layout, Hero photos, and per-slide Focal point & zoom. Dragging the focal point moves the photo underneath everything else. See Positioning Your Hero Photos.
The text layer — the headline, tagline, location line, badges, and the booking bar. → Content placement decides where they sit (Centered, Stacked, Editorial left, Minimal, Classic band, Medallion); Text & style decides what they say and how big they are. See Hero Text Placement & Medallions.
The overlay layer — the tint between the photo and the text that keeps words readable. → Hero overlay and Overlay strength. See Hero Overlay, Text & Badges.

Above all three sits the header (navigation bar), configured under Brand → Header style, and an optional Intro reveal that plays once when the page loads. See Header, Logos & Intro Styles.

Move the photo so the title/booking bar isn't covering the best part (a walkway, a face, the view)	Home → Hero → Hero photos → hover the slide → Adjust focal point (drag; zoom in if it won't move). Then, if the words themselves should sit elsewhere, change Text & style → Content placement. Or pick the Billboard layout so nothing overlays the photo.
Put the title lower / higher / on the left	Home → Hero → Text & style → Content placement (Stacked = low, Centered = middle, Editorial left = lower-left).
Get the words off the photo entirely	Home → Hero → Hero layout → Billboard (title in a band below) or Collage.
Fix a hero photo that looks dark or a title that's hard to read	Home → Hero → Text & style → Hero overlay + Overlay strength (lower it, or choose None).
Change which photo shows at the top	Home → Hero → Hero photos (hand-pick). With no hand-picked photos, the first gallery photo (the Cover slot under Space → Photos) is used.
Show several photos at the top	Home → Hero → Hero layout → Collage (up to 7 tiles) or Carousel (slides that auto-advance).
Add a video at the top	Home → Hero → Hero photos → Add → video (Full bleed shows it alone; Carousel mixes it with photos).
Turn the title into a circular crest / badge	Home → Hero → Text & style → Content placement → Medallion, then tune the Medallion content block.
Hide the location or tagline under the title, or change the headline text	Home → Hero → Text & style → Show location / Show tagline / Hero headline / Hero eyebrow.
Make the title bigger or smaller	Home → Brand → Typography → hero title / eyebrow / tagline size.
Stop the header from hiding the top of the photo, or change where the logo/tabs sit	Home → Brand → Header style (preset, expanded/collapsed background, logo size, hairline).
Turn the opening animation off (or on)	Home → Brand → Intro reveal.
Change fonts or brand colors	Home → Brand → Typography / Brand colors.
Change the photo behind the reviews or another section	Space → Photos — the Parallax 1–4 slots (positions 5–8 in the gallery). See Adding Photos.
Add a page (About, Experiences, Getting here) or make FAQ/Blog its own tab	Left rail + (new tab); feature pages toggle between inline and "As tab".

Tips

Preview on mobile before you finish. Content placement, overlays, and focal points all crop differently on a phone; the focal point you set is honored on every screen size.
Change one layer at a time. If the photo is right but the words are wrong, don't move the photo — change the placement. If the words are right but the photo is cropped badly, drag the focal point.
Ask the AI assistant. Describe what you see ("the title is covering the walkway") and it will name the exact control and where it is.
