Content placement decides where your headline sits over the hero photo — and the booking search bar travels with it. Choose it when the words are in the wrong place; choose the Medallion placement when you want a boutique, crest-style brand moment instead of a text headline.
Where: Property editor → Layout tab → Home → right panel → Hero → expand Text & style → Content placement. On collection sites: multi-unit site editor → Page → Home → Hero → Layout → Content placement.
Content placement only appears when the words are on the photo — the Full bleed (and Carousel) hero layouts. Billboard and Collage put the title in a band below the image, so there's nothing to place. See Hero Layouts.

Each placement has a matching Hero overlay that darkens only the part of the photo the text needs (Centered ↔ Top fade, Stacked ↔ Bottom fade, Editorial left ↔ Left fade). Pick the placement first, then the overlay, then — if the photo's subject is still under the words — drag the focal point on that slide. The Medallion placement replaces the text headline with a centered disc holding your emblem and a short title — a crest. Selecting it reveals the medallion block: a Medallion style row of four tuned crests, the Layout choice, the Medallion title and subtitle fields, and a Fine-tune… link that opens every individual option below.

Picking a style sets every medallion option at once. You can still change any single option under Fine-tune… — the style row then reads Custom until you pick a style again.
The disc is a fixed circle, so the medallion fits its words rather than letting them spill out:

On a collection site the hero also decides how guests start a search: the full dates + guests bar on the photo, or a single Browse button that opens the browse overlay. Either way, a Browse availability button sits beside Search and drops down a calendar with every stay in a row, one month at a time — guests see open and booked nights across the whole collection side by side, filter by stay, pick dates on any row, and continue to that stay with the dates filled in. Turn the button off here when you want just the search bar.
Where (collection site): Multi-unit site editor → Layout tab → Home → right panel → Hero → Layout → Availability search card Applies when: Collection (multi-unit) sites only. The button sits beside Search in the desktop bar and as a row inside the mobile search card, and inside the browse overlay when the hero uses the Browse button placement.
