Restore a Deleted Page or Tab

A page deleted from your site is held for 30 days before it is gone for good. During that window it can be put back exactly as it was, on a property site and on a multi-unit site alike.

What comes back

The page returns whole: its name, the hero, every section with its photos and copy, any sub-pages that belonged to it, and its position in your navigation. Buttons elsewhere on the site that pointed to the page are reconnected, provided you have not pointed them somewhere else in the meantime.

Restoring publishes the page again straight away. There is no draft step.

Three ways to restore

Right after deleting: Undo

The confirmation that appears when you delete a page carries an Undo button. Click it and the page is back within a few seconds.

Later: Recently deleted

Open the site editor and click the Layout tab in the left sidebar.
Click + New tab.
At the bottom of the list, under the page types, click Recently deleted. The number beside it is how many pages can still be restored.
Find the page and click Restore.

Each row shows the page's name, how many sections and sub-pages it held, when it was deleted, and how many days remain. The window stays open after a restore, so several pages can be recovered in one visit.

Recently deleted appears only when this site has something to restore. If the link is missing, nothing has been deleted from this site in the last 30 days.

Ask the help assistant

Type "restore the page I deleted", or name it: "bring back Property management". The assistant finds the page and puts it back for you. This reaches pages deleted from any of your sites, which is useful when you are not sure which site a page lived on.

What to know

Each site keeps its own list. A page is restored to the site it was deleted from. To place a page on a different site, restore it first, then use + New tab → Reuse an existing page on the other site.
Sub-pages. A sub-page deleted on its own is listed separately and marked Sub-page. It returns under its parent page; if the parent has since been deleted, it returns as a page of its own.
Contact pages are hidden when removed, never deleted, so they are not in the list. Add Contact back from + New tab → Contact and its name, hero and sections are as you left them.
Sections removed from a page are a different matter. They are kept in the page builder's Reuse existing library and can be added back from there.
After 30 days a deleted page can no longer be restored.
Profile pages are a single page with no tabs, so + New tab is switched off there and there is nothing to restore.
