Agency Mode: Manage Multiple Clients and Airbnb Accounts

Agency mode is for agencies, co-hosts, and management companies that run direct-booking businesses on behalf of multiple property owners. With agency mode enabled, one Haven account can connect several Airbnb accounts (one per client) through the direct Airbnb integration, organize listings into client folders, and launch a branded marketing site per client alongside one main portfolio site.

When to Use Agency Mode

You manage short-term rentals for multiple owners, each with their own Airbnb account.
You want each owner's listings grouped and labeled under their name across your dashboard.
You want a branded booking site per client, plus a main site that markets everything you manage together.
You bill your clients yourself and want one Haven subscription covering the whole portfolio.

If you run your own portfolio under a single brand and a single Airbnb account, you do not need agency mode.

How to Turn On Agency Mode

During onboarding

On the import step, choose I manage properties for others (agency). Haven skips the single-brand setup steps (import, site structure, language, branding, and domain) and takes you to the dashboard, where you connect each client's Airbnb account from the Integrations tab.

From account settings

Go to your host dashboard and open the Account tab (/host?tab=account-security).
Find the Agency mode section.
Turn the toggle on.

Turning agency mode on is available to every host. It unlocks the agency features immediately.

Connecting Multiple Airbnb Accounts

With agency mode on, the Integrations tab shows one card per connected Airbnb account instead of a single connection:

Open the Integrations tab and find the direct Airbnb integration.
Click Add another Airbnb account. Each connection goes through the standard Airbnb authorization with that client's Airbnb login.
After connecting, link the account to a client so imported listings file under the right folder automatically.

Each account syncs independently — listings, calendars, reservations, and reviews follow the same rules described in the Direct Airbnb Integration Sync and Webhook Reference.

Multiple accounts apply to the direct Airbnb integration only. PMS integrations such as Guesty, OwnerRez, and Hospitable remain one connection per Haven account.

Client Folders

Agency mode adds a Clients layer to your dashboard:

Listings tab — properties are grouped into collapsible sections per client, with an "Unassigned" section for anything not yet filed. Create clients with the New client button and move properties between clients from each property card.
Filtering and search — the listings toolbar gains a client filter, and search matches client names and Airbnb account names in addition to property names.
Property pickers — everywhere you pick a property (site builder, marketing tools, bulk actions), options show a small badge with the client or Airbnb account the property belongs to, and search matches those labels.

Properties imported through a client-linked Airbnb connection are assigned to that client automatically. You can also assign or unassign properties manually at any time.

Marketing Sites for Clients

Client sites use Haven's standard property groups (multi-unit sites):

Per-client site — from a client's folder, use the "Create marketing site" shortcut to launch the multi-unit site wizard pre-filtered to that client's properties. The resulting site can have the client's branding and its own custom domain.
Main portfolio site — create one more property group containing every property you manage to market your whole book of business under your agency brand.

Turning Agency Mode Off

You can turn agency mode off from the same Account settings toggle, but only when:

You have at most one connected Airbnb account, and
No client has properties assigned to it.

If either condition isn't met, the toggle is disabled with an explanation. Disconnect the extra Airbnb accounts and unassign client properties first. This guard prevents accidentally orphaning client organization and multi-account connections.

Billing

Agency mode does not change how Haven pricing works. Your agency subscribes to a standard Haven plan, and per-listing pricing applies across every property you manage regardless of client. Most agencies re-bill Haven's cost to their clients as part of their management fee. For large portfolios, contact us about volume options.

What Agency Mode Does NOT Do

It does not give clients their own Haven logins — your agency operates the account.
It does not send anything to your clients; client names and emails in Haven are organizational only.
It does not allow multiple Guesty, OwnerRez, or Hospitable PMS connections.
It does not change how bookings, payments, or payouts work — all payments settle to your agency's Stripe account.
