Team Access and Managing Client Accounts

There are two ways to share access in Haven, and they solve different problems:

Team seats bring a co-host, a VA, or a business partner into your account without handing over your password.
Account links connect two Haven accounts — so an agency can manage a client's account, or you can invite a manager into yours.

Find both under Settings → Team access in the sidebar. If you have agency mode turned on, the same item is labeled Clients & team.

Team Seats

A seat gives someone access to your whole account. Invite them from the Members card:

Invite by email — enter their address, pick a role, and click Send invite. Haven emails them a link.
Invite link — pick a role and click Copy invite link. Share the link however you like. Each link works once.

Invites that haven't been accepted appear under Pending invites, where you can copy the link again or Revoke it. Accepted members appear in the list below, where you can change a role or Remove them. Removal takes effect immediately, and you can always invite them back.

Roles

Role	What they can do
Viewer	Read-only. They can see your properties, calendars, and bookings, but cannot change anything.
Manager	Can make changes across your account, and can invite and remove other members.
Owner	You. Not a role anyone can be given — it's whoever the Haven account belongs to.

Billing is always owner-only. No role you hand out can change your plan, your payment method, or your Stripe payout account. A Manager also can't change their own role — that takes the owner.

Account Links

Team seats share your account. If you need to work inside an account that isn't yours — or let someone else work inside yours — that's an account link. Both directions live on the same page:

Invite a manager (under "Who manages your account") — give another Haven account access to your entire account except billing. You stay the owner and can unlink at any time.
Add a client (under "Clients", shown when agency mode is on) — connect an owner whose account you'll manage. You can connect their existing Haven account, or create a new account for them and invite them to claim it later. See Agency Mode for both flows.

An account link is whole-account by design: there's no way to link to just part of someone's portfolio. The person doing the managing always acts as a Manager, never an owner, so the account's billing and payout setup stay with its real owner.

Either side can Unlink at any time, which cuts off access immediately.

Who Pays

Each Haven account has its own subscription — a linked client keeps theirs by default, so their listings never count toward yours.

When an agency adds a client, the invite includes a Cover their Haven billing toggle (on by default). With coverage on, the client's subscription moves onto the agency's bill the moment they accept, prorated. If the agency later ends coverage, the client keeps full service for 14 days and then needs to subscribe on their own.

What Team Access Does Not Do

Nothing here is public. Guests never see your team or your client links.
Seats and links do not replace Multi-Unit Sites. To market several properties on one branded site with its own domain, create a Multi-Unit Site — see Sites and Properties — Glossary.
They do not move properties between accounts. A property always lives on its owner's account; access controls only who can reach it.
