Every email you write in Haven is reusable from the moment it exists. There is no template to save first: a newsletter you sent in March, a draft from last week, and the third email of an automation are all available to copy from, whole or in parts. This article covers the three ways to do it — duplicating a campaign, reusing an existing email, and keeping a part synced across drafts.
A new blank email opens wearing the header and theme of the email you most recently styled: the same letterhead layout, logo, photo, fonts and colors. The headline and subtitle are cleared, because those belonged to the last send. A new email added to an automation takes its look from the other emails in that automation first.
If you have never customized a header, nothing is carried over and the email uses the branding of your site, as before. Emails started from Browse templates, from an AI draft, or from a suggestion keep the look they were built with.
The copy carries everything you wrote: every email, the audience, the sender, and for an automation the whole flow. It does not carry anything the original did. It has no send date, no sent history, no enrolled guests and no statistics, and it is never published for you. The original is untouched.
Broadcasts sent before broadcasts became campaigns appear in the list as history and cannot be duplicated.
Press Reuse existing beside Browse templates, find the email, open it, and press Start from this email. A new broadcast draft opens as a copy of it — subject, header, theme and body. Who it goes to and when are left for you to choose, and Haven will not send it until you have.
Open the Blocks rail or type /, and choose Reuse existing at the top of the Saved group.
Your named saved components sit on a shelf at the top of the same window. Locked stay details — the reservation table, arrival instructions — belong to a booking and cannot be reused.
When you add parts from another email, you choose how they behave.
Keep synced is the default. The part becomes one thing that lives in several drafts. Edit it in any of them and the others update. The email it came from joins in too, provided it is still a draft.
Make an independent copy starts from the same content and goes its own way. A copy cannot be re-linked later.
A synced part is marked in the editor with a Synced chip and a fine rule down its side. Open the chip to see every email that uses it, and Unlink this copy to make this one independent. Unlinking keeps the words and cannot be undone.
Open an email in Reuse existing and press Use its look to take its header layout, branding, fonts, colors and theme without taking its words. With Keep synced selected, the look becomes one look shared by those drafts: change the letterhead style or a color in one and the others follow. Your header photo, headline and subtitle are never part of a synced look — they stay each email's own, which is what lets a monthly newsletter keep its layout while the picture and title change.
A Look synced chip appears above the email. It lists the emails sharing the look and offers Unlink this copy, which keeps the email looking exactly as it does and only ends the link.
An email that still uses your site's branding, with no header of its own, has no look to hand over; customize its header first. If your emails follow your account-wide theme, colors, fonts and logo already stay consistent everywhere through that theme.
Syncing reaches drafts only. A broadcast that is scheduled or sent, and an automation that is live or paused, keep the text they had. Editing a synced footer will never rewrite the newsletter that went out last week, and it will never add unpublished edits to an automation that is running. Those emails appear in the chip's list marked as unchanged, so you can see exactly where an edit will and will not land.
The same applies in reverse. If you edit a synced part inside a scheduled, sent or live email, the change stays in that email.
If you add a part to an email that is already scheduled, sent or live, Keep synced is unavailable and the part goes in as a copy.
