Creating Your First Property

Creating your first property in Haven is straightforward. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Starting the Property Creation Process

1. Navigate to your Host Dashboard - Click on "Host Dashboard" in the navigation menu
2. Click "Create Listing" - You'll find this button in the top-right of your dashboard (next to "Create Multi-Unit Site")
3. Fill in basic information - Start with the property name and location

Required Information

To create a property, you'll need:

• Property Name - A descriptive title for your property
• Location - The address or location of your property
• At least one photo - Upload at least one image of your property

Property Setup Sections

After creating your property, you'll be taken to the property edit page where you can configure:

Essential Sections

1. Photos & Video - Upload property images and an optional cover video
2. General Info - Property name, tagline, and description
3. Location - Set the exact location with Google Maps integration
4. Pricing - Set your base nightly rate

Additional Sections

• Language - When you import a property by URL or sync it from a connected PMS, Haven detects its language and uses that for every AI writing assistant and enrichment task on the property. You can change it any time from Edit listing > Settings > Language. See Listing Language for details.
• Amenities - List what your property offers
• Sleeping arrangements - Bedroom photo groups and the beds guests see under Where you'll sleep. See Sleeping Arrangements
• Details - Additional property information
• House Rules - Rules and guidelines for guests
• Safety Disclosures - Important safety information
• Check-in/Checkout Details - Instructions for guests
• Fees - Cleaning fees, pet fees, extra-guest fees, late-checkout fees, and any other fees you configure (Haven does not add a separate platform service fee)
• Discounts - Weekly, monthly, or custom discounts
• Taxes - Tax configuration
• Availability - Set when your property is available
• Calendar Sync - Connect external calendars
• Custom URL - Create a custom subdomain
• Custom Domain - Use your own domain
• Cancellation Policy - Set cancellation rules

• Add details gradually - You can always come back to add more information
