Haven connects directly to OwnerRez to import the properties you choose, keep supported property and calendar data aligned, mirror reservations and blocks, and add confirmed Haven direct bookings to OwnerRez.
For exact field directions, fee rules, polling behavior, and webhook handling, see OwnerRez Sync and Webhook Reference.
Watch the connection walkthrough below, then follow the written steps if you prefer text.
Haven reads your photos, descriptions, and amenities from OwnerRez's Listing Content API, which OwnerRez only exposes when your account has the WordPress Plugin + Integrated Websites add-on enabled.
The WordPress Plugin + Integrated Websites add-on is a paid OwnerRez premium feature, billed per property on a sliding scale (starting at $10/month for the first property). Enable it under your OwnerRez account's Premium Features settings (OwnerRez support can turn it on if you don't see it), then reconnect or wait for the next sync and your photos and content will import automatically. See OwnerRez's Integrated Websites overview for details.
Go to Host Dashboard → Integrations, find OwnerRez, and select Connect OwnerRez.
Haven redirects you to OwnerRez to sign in and approve access. This is an OAuth connection: you do not enter an API key, copy your OwnerRez password into Haven, configure an iCal link, or create a webhook manually.
Haven requests OwnerRez's Full read and write scope. This allows Haven to:
If you approve read-only access, inbound sync can continue, but Haven cannot create guests or bookings in OwnerRez. Direct-booking push requires full write access.
After OwnerRez returns you to Haven, use Your OwnerRez properties to choose what to bring in:
OwnerRez properties are imported as new Haven properties. This flow does not ask you to map an OwnerRez property onto an existing Haven property.
If the import adds billable properties beyond your plan's included limit, Haven shows the property-charge confirmation before starting.
Imports run in the background. The property list can show Importing, Syncing, Not imported, Import failed, Archived, Stopped syncing, or Removed from OwnerRez.
When the import finishes:
Do not disconnect OwnerRez while an import is running. You can leave the page and return later.
You can connect OwnerRez from the onboarding integrations step. After authorization, choose:
Selected properties import in the background while you continue onboarding. The ongoing sync behavior is the same whether you connect during onboarding or from the Integrations tab.
When OwnerRez supplies a supported value, Haven can import:
Photos, descriptions, amenities, Wi-Fi, and room details come from OwnerRez's Listing Content API, which requires the WordPress Plugin + Integrated Websites add-on on your OwnerRez account (see Before You Start above). If that add-on is not enabled, Haven imports the core property record and leaves photos and listing-content fields empty and editable.
Haven maps only values with a clear equivalent. It does not guess an unrelated property type or amenity. Haven-uploaded photos remain separate and are not removed by an OwnerRez photo refresh.
Haven imports an OwnerRez surcharge or discount only when it maps exactly to a Haven pricing field. The rule must be active, automatic, free of custom criteria, broadly applicable across seasons and listing sites, and use amount semantics Haven can represent.
Supported deterministic mappings can include:
Haven does not approximate manual or optional charges, discount codes, early-bird or last-minute offers, custom criteria, channel- or season-specific rules, unsupported percentages or thresholds, taxes, security deposits, or competing rules for the same Haven field.
OwnerRez's computed calendar feed is inbound-only. For each supported date, Haven imports:
The feed does not populate Haven's property-level default or weekend price. Haven does not send rates, stay rules, or Haven-created manual blocks back to OwnerRez.
To keep nightly prices in Haven instead, turn on Manage pricing in Haven under Calendar → Pricing. OwnerRez then stops overwriting Haven's daily prices, but minimum stays, check-in/check-out restrictions, reservations, blocks, and supported fees continue syncing inbound. Haven-managed prices still are not sent to OwnerRez.
Haven mirrors OwnerRez reservations and blocks onto the Haven calendar:
OwnerRez reservation totals and charge lines do not become Haven payments, payouts, or booking-pricing records.
When a guest completes a direct booking for an imported property, Haven:
OwnerRez's create-booking API does not accept Haven's structured guest counts, charges, or payment fields. Haven therefore does not send nightly line items, fees, taxes, discounts, Stripe IDs, refunds, or payouts.
Haven and Stripe remain the financial system of record. The OwnerRez booking reserves the dates and identifies the guest; it is not a duplicate payment record.
Before accepting dates, Haven checks current OwnerRez reservations and blocks for overlap. This complements webhook and polling sync for very recent changes.
Cancellation behavior is intentionally asymmetric because OwnerRez does not provide Haven with an API operation to cancel a booking:
Haven does not push later date, guest, charge, note, or cancellation changes to an existing OwnerRez booking.
OwnerRez does not manage these Haven features:
Supported values supplied by OwnerRez show a Synced from OwnerRez badge and are locked by default. Empty, unavailable, or unmappable values remain editable.
To take local control of an individual supported property field:
Choose Re-sync from OwnerRez to restore OwnerRez ownership. A Haven override is local only; it is not written back to OwnerRez.
OwnerRez creates a webhook subscription when you authorize Haven. Haven uses these events:
| OwnerRez event | What happens in Haven |
|---|---|
| Booking created | Creates a partner-managed unavailable event, unless it is the recognized echo of a Haven booking push |
| Booking updated | Updates an OwnerRez-originated reservation or block; removes canceled dates; handles inbound cancellation or rejected date changes for Haven-originated bookings |
| Booking deleted | Removes the mirrored reservation or block |
| Property created | Imports automatically only when Auto-import on is enabled; otherwise waits for manual selection |
| Property rates or availability updated | Refreshes computed prices, minimum stays, and check-in/check-out restrictions |
| Property content updated | Refreshes supported property details, listing content, photos, fees, and discounts |
| Property deleted | Detaches the mapping, keeps the Haven property, marks it removed, pauses add-on billing at renewal, and emails you |
| Guest changed | Records the event; guest details update through reservation sync rather than as a standalone guest edit |
| Haven authorization revoked | Marks the connection disconnected and stops future sync work |
| Test webhook | Confirms delivery without changing property or booking data |
Webhooks provide prompt updates, while background polling protects against delayed, missed, or automatically disabled deliveries. Calendar pricing, stay rules, reservations, and blocks refresh approximately hourly. Property content, photos, and fees also receive a daily safety refresh.
If an imported property is deleted in OwnerRez, Haven:
The Integrations tab includes Recent Sync Activity for connection-level sync jobs, outcomes, timestamps, and recorded errors. The OwnerRez property list shows each property's current import or mapping state.
OwnerRez does not currently provide a host-facing per-property Sync action or a per-property raw-response detail view. Updates arrive through webhooks and scheduled polling. If data appears stale, use the connection status and recent activity to check for failures, then follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Under Host Dashboard → Integrations → Your OwnerRez properties:
Use Auto-import properties to enable it or Turn off to disable it. Re-enabling automatic import also restores and refreshes archived mappings that still belong to the connection.
To disconnect, go to Host Dashboard → Integrations, open the connected OwnerRez card, select Disconnect, and confirm.
Disconnecting:
It does not delete properties from Haven or OwnerRez. Removing Haven from OwnerRez's connected applications also notifies Haven and marks the connection disconnected.
To reconnect, select Connect OwnerRez again and approve access. Reauthorizing the same account refreshes the existing connection rather than creating a duplicate. Reconnect when authorization has expired or been revoked, or when Haven support recommends creating a fresh webhook subscription.
The OwnerRez integration may not be enabled for your Haven account. Contact Haven support from the Help Center.
OwnerRez only shares photos, descriptions, and amenities through its Listing Content API when the WordPress Plugin + Integrated Websites add-on is on. If those fields came in empty, connect Airbnb from Integrations so Haven can keep them in sync without that upgrade — or enable the add-on in OwnerRez and wait for the next sync.
Otherwise, an individual value may be empty in OwnerRez or lack a safe Haven mapping. Core property data (title, address, rooms, pricing, reservations) imports even when the listing add-on is off. Unsupported values remain empty and editable rather than being guessed.
Confirm the OwnerRez rule is active, automatic, unrestricted by custom criteria, seasons, or channels, and uses a supported amount and threshold. Haven does not approximate complex rules.
Open Haven's action-required notification or email, find the OwnerRez booking number, and cancel that booking manually in OwnerRez.
Confirm the connection has Full read and write access. A read-only grant cannot create OwnerRez guests or bookings. Also check Recent Sync Activity for the failed outbound job.
