Bring the guest reviews you already have onto your Haven property page, without waiting on a PMS connection. Import reviews on the Reviews & Testimonials tab reads reviews out of an export file, screenshots, pasted text, or a public listing page, shows you what it found, and adds only the ones you keep. Every review lands word for word. Haven never rewrites a guest's words.
- You use OwnerRez without the website add-on. OwnerRez only shares guest reviews with accounts that have its paid WordPress Plugin + Integrated Websites add-on. Without it, your bookings, rates, and fees still sync, but reviews never arrive. Import is the way to bring them over.
- Your reviews live on a platform Haven has no connector for (Google, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, an old website).
- You have a spreadsheet of reviews you kept yourself or exported from another tool.
- You are moving from another site builder and want the social proof to come with you.
Open a listing, go to Reviews & Testimonials, and click Import reviews next to Add testimonial.
If your PMS has refused to share reviews, an amber note at the top of the tab says so and offers the same Import reviews button.
Option 1: Upload an OwnerRez export (best for full history)
- In OwnerRez, go to Quality Center → Reviews → Guest Reviews.
- Click Export at the top left of the grid and pick CSV or Excel.
- In Haven, open Import reviews, choose the File tab, and drop the file in.
- Click Import with AI. A spreadsheet is read as data, so this step is instant and does not depend on the AI. Haven maps the OwnerRez columns (ListingSite, ReviewDate, DisplayName, StarsGiven, Title, Body, and the property) directly.
- Review the list. If the export covers several properties, reviews are grouped by the property OwnerRez filed them under, so untick the ones that belong to another listing.
- Click Add N reviews.
Host reviews of guests, private feedback, and your own responses are never imported.
- Open your reviews page on Airbnb, Vrbo, Google, or OwnerRez and take screenshots. A few screenshots for a long list is fine.
- In Import reviews, choose the Screenshot tab and add them (paste from the clipboard works too).
- Click Import with AI. Haven transcribes each review with the name, stars, and date shown next to it, skipping your replies and page clutter.
- Keep the ones you want and click Add N reviews.
A review cut off at the edge of a screenshot is left out rather than guessed at. Take a second screenshot that shows it in full.
Option 3: Paste text
Copy the reviews from anywhere (an email, a document, a page) into the Text tab. Names, dates, and star ratings on their own lines are picked up when they are there.
Paste a public Airbnb, Vrbo, or own-site listing URL in the Link tab. Those pages only show the first handful of reviews, so use this for a quick start and an export or screenshots for the full history.
- Imported reviews appear in the Reviews & Testimonials list with their platform, rating, and date, and behave like synced reviews: feature them, hide them, or show all.
- They land unfeatured. Haven's featured-testimonial picker runs once after an import and promotes the standouts, exactly as it does after a PMS sync. You can change any pick.
- Re-importing the same file adds nothing. A review whose text already exists on the listing is skipped, so you can safely import a fresh export every few months.
- If you later enable the OwnerRez add-on, the sync takes over and matches on OwnerRez's own review ids. Reviews you imported by hand stay put.
- Import does not create private feedback or Guest Insights entries. Only public review text is imported.
- The AI paths (screenshots, text, link) read up to 30 reviews per run. Run it again for more. A spreadsheet has no such cap.
- Ratings on a scale other than 5 stars are converted to whole stars when the file says what the maximum was.
