Branded Merchandise (Tees, Totes, Bottles, Mugs, Hats)

Merchandise is branded physical goods you order for your own properties: tees, tote bags, steel water bottles, coffee mugs, cuffed beanies, and trucker caps carrying your logo and name. You design them in the dashboard from the brand your site already uses, Haven's print partner (the same one that prints your business cards and acrylic signs) produces them, and they ship to the address you enter.

Merchandise is not an upsell and not a store. Guests never buy it on your site and it never appears on a property page, at checkout, or in the guidebook. You buy it, and you decide what to do with it: stock it in the property, hand it to guests, or ship a piece to a past guest as a thank-you.

To sell something to guests (late checkout, a chef dinner, paddleboards, a retreat), use native Experiences and Add-ons.

Why hosts order merchandise

Make the stay feel special. A branded mug on the counter, a tote by the door, or a tee folded on the bed reads as a gift, not a rental.
Encourage rebooking. Every item can carry your own website address (and a QR code on printed items), so the piece a guest takes home points back at your direct booking site rather than an OTA.
Brand awareness. A tote or cap worn around town is a walking referral. Hosts with a group site put the brand on everything, so every listing shares one look.
Welcome and thank-you gifts. Leave one in the property for arriving guests, or ship a piece directly to a past guest's home after their stay.

Where to find it

Host Dashboard → Grow your brand → Merchandise (/host?tab=merch).

The page has an All products pill, one pill per product (Tee, Tote bag, Water bottle, Coffee mug, Beanie, Trucker cap), and an Orders pill with your merchandise order history. Pick the listing or group site the merchandise belongs to at the top; the design pulls that site's logo, colors, and name.

You need at least one listing. Merchandise pulls the logo and colors from that site's brand, so set those up first under Grow your brand → Brand if the preview looks empty.

Embroidered items stitch text in the closest thread color. A full-color logo is reduced to a few thread colors by the print partner, or you can choose to stitch it in a single thread.

How to design a piece

Open a product pill (or click a product from All products).
Artwork layout — pick a template: Logo (just your mark), Logo + name (stacked), Lockup (logo beside the name), Wordmark (your name in your brand font), or Badge (a round seal).
Ink color — Auto picks a color that reads well on the product color; or force Brand, White, or Black.
Logo — show or hide it, resize it (S / M / L), or upload a different logo for this one item without changing your site brand.
Name and tagline — the site name is used by default; override it or add a short tagline.
Website line and QR — print your own domain on the item and, where the product supports it, a QR code that opens your booking site. Haven never prints its own name on your merchandise; if your site still lives on a Haven address, the website line is left off until you connect a custom domain.
Pick the product color, size (tees), and placement where the product offers more than one, and switch the preview view (flat, on a model, close-up) to check how it looks.

Designs autosave per product and per site, so you can come back and reorder the same piece later.

How ordering works

Click Order on the piece. Ordering opens a checkout window with a live price summary and a short form:

Choose a quantity from 1 to 50. Merchandise is priced per unit, so ordering one item for one guest is fine.
Enter the ship-to address. Haven pre-fills the property's address (or your accounting profile). You can replace it with any US address, including a guest's home if you are sending a thank-you gift. Add an email for delivery updates.
Choose a shipping method. Once the address is complete, Haven quotes the available delivery options and estimated dates automatically.
Approve the proof. The item prints exactly as shown, so check spelling, logo, and the website line. Approved design errors are not refundable.
Approve proof & pay through secure Stripe checkout. You return to Haven and the order appears under Orders.

The total is the print cost plus shipping, both shown before you pay. You pay for merchandise yourself; nothing is charged to a guest.

Shipping is US-only today. Orders ship to United States addresses, whether that is your property or a guest's home.

Track your orders

The Orders pill lists every merchandise order, newest first, with the product, color, size, quantity, total, and ship-to address. Orders move through Order received, Printing, Shipped (with a tracking link once available), Delivered, Needs attention (the Haven team is notified), and Canceled.
