Host Co is an optional integration, not Haven's built-in upsell product.
If you already have a Host Co store — or you want Host Co to source and fulfill local products and services for you — you can connect it so those items appear on your Haven property pages and in the guidebook. Guests browse them on Haven and complete the purchase on Host Co. Host Co handles payments, scheduling, and fulfillment. You earn Host Co's commission on those sales; Haven does not take a cut of Host Co transactions.
Native Haven upsells are separate. Experiences and add-ons you create in Haven (packages, retreats, late checkout, hot-tub fees, and so on) are sold through your Stripe account with 0% Haven commission. They do not use Host Co. See Experiences and Add-ons.
Name note: Hosts sometimes call this surface "Guest Offers" or "Guest Store." Those are guest-facing labels (and you can rename them). They are not the same thing as native experiences and add-ons under Upsells.

Most properties only need native experiences and add-ons. Connect Host Co when you specifically want that marketplace on Haven.
When a store is linked to a property, guests can discover Host Co's catalog of local products and services, for example:
Do not use Host Co for extras you fulfill yourself (late checkout, a chef you hire, your own hot tub). Create those as native add-ons or experiences so the money comes to you through Stripe with no marketplace commission.
Re-authorize from the same place if the connection expires.
Each Haven property can have a linked Host Co store.
Haven can auto-create an empty Host Co storefront per unlinked property the first time you use the integration; Host Co then seeds local products over time.
On Upsells → Host Co (or the property editor store section) you can:
The section is hidden from guests until at least one visible product is linked.
When a store is connected and has visible products:
Hosts who do not connect Host Co still have native experiences and add-ons. The property page and guidebook do not require Host Co.
"Guest Offers" is only the default guest-facing name. Rename it under Host Dashboard → Grow your brand → Upsells in the Guest Offers name card (for example "Local Experiences" or "Add-Ons"). The name autosaves and appears on property-page navigation, the guest portal, and reservation emails. Leave it blank for the default (shown as the shorter "Offers" on compact tabs).
This rename does not turn Host Co into native Haven upsells, and it does not replace the Upsells host-dashboard tab.
