Every listing has a guest guide. Some listings need more than that: a cleaners' guide with the closet codes and the turnover checklist, an owner's manual for the people who own the place, a long-stay guide for the tenant who stays a season. Each is its own guidebook on the same listing, with its own pages, its own link, and its own shortcode for your messages.
Open Sites → Guidebooks (/host?tab=guidebooks). The list shows one row
per listing, the way Group sites shows one row per site. Open a row and you
see every guidebook that listing has:
{guidebook_url} shortcode point at, and
it cannot be deleted. The grid/list toggle in the toolbar switches back to the one-card-per-listing view if you prefer it.
Press New guidebook in the toolbar (or the + on a listing's row), pick the listing if you have several, and give it a name. A name is all it needs. From the name Haven makes:
…/guide/cleaners-guide beneath the listing's guide, on the
same domain the listing uses;{cleaners_guide_url} — that stands for that link in
your emails and messages. The link and the shortcode stay the same when you rename the guidebook later, so anything you have already sent keeps working.
A further guidebook opens in its own, smaller editor: the phone preview on the left, and beside it Add page, Pages, and Guide layout & tabs. Everything you can do in the guest guide's Arrival tab works here the same way — add pages of any kind, group them into menus, press and hold a card in the phone to rearrange it, tap a card's pencil to edit it.
What a further guidebook does not have is its own copy of the listing's facts. Wi-Fi, directions, the address, contacts and house rules are the listing's, so the built-in cards for them show the same thing in every guidebook. A new guidebook starts with just the Wi-Fi, Contact and Directions cards on; turn others on from Guide layout & tabs or Add page, and the pencil on any built-in card opens the listing editor's section for it in a new tab.
The guest guide still opens the whole listing editor, as before.
The link is open: anyone who has it can read the guidebook, with no email gate and no reservation. Share it from the editor's Share this guidebook card, from the row's share icon on the Guidebooks list, or by putting the shortcode in a message.
The shortcode is the useful part when you have several listings. Give the
cleaners' guide the same shortcode on every listing — Haven suggests the
same one from the same name — and one message template with
{cleaners_guide_url} in it sends each listing's own cleaners' guide.
Shortcodes work anywhere the Shortcodes pill appears: CRM emails and
SMS, broadcasts, messages from the inbox, and automations. The guidebook's
link resolves for the listing the message is about; in a message with no
listing the token stays as written.
You can change a guidebook's shortcode in its editor under Share this guidebook. It has to be unique on that listing and cannot be one of Haven's built-in tokens.
Delete guidebook at the bottom of the editor, or Delete in the row's menu on the Guidebooks list. Every page in it goes with it, and anyone holding the link sees nothing. The listing's guest guide is never affected — it has no delete.
