A guidebook with thirty pages is hard to read as thirty cards. A menu is one card that opens to a list of pages, so "Inside the apartment" can hold Appliances, Coffee, TV and Trash behind a single tap. You can also put your own pages on the Explore tab next to your places, and show a YouTube or Vimeo video inside any page.
The panel has four parts: Home, Property, Explore and Tab names. The first three each list the cards on that tab of the guest guide.
The menu opens ready to fill. Choose Add a page inside it to:
You can also start from the page: open it and choose the menu under Where it shows.
Guests see a menu once it holds at least one page that is visible to them. You see an empty menu in the preview so you can fill it.
A menu is drawn with its pages nested under it, so you can see the whole guide without opening anything. From its row you can:
Take this menu apart removes the menu and keeps every page. The pages take the menu's place on the tab as separate cards. Nothing is deleted.
Drag a menu's handle to reorder it among the other cards on the tab. In the phone preview you can also press and hold a menu and drag it onto Home or Property in the bottom bar to move it to that tab.
Every page has one place in the guide. To change it, use either:
Both open the same list: each tab, the menus on it, and New menu. Choose:
A menu shows as one card with its name and the number of pages in it. Tapping it opens the list of its pages.
Tapping a page slides it in over the list, on a phone and on a computer alike, so the guest never leaves the guide. At the top, the menu's name is the way back and a count shows where they are ("2 of 6"). At the end of each page, Next opens the page after it.
Pages that are Guests only show in the list with a lock until the guest has linked a stay. Pages that are not visible to guests are left out of the list.
The Explore tab shows your places, the map and your neighborhood notes. Pages and menus you add under Explore in Guide layout & tabs show above the places, under From your host.
Use it for anything about the area that is not one place on the map: a short list of your favourite restaurants, bike hire, a day out, how to get around town.
To move a page there, open Explore, choose Add a card, and pick it under Or move a page here.
Guests see a player where the link is. A link inside a sentence or a list stays a link.
Under the player there is always a link to the video, for guests whose connection will not load the player. The printed guide shows the link.
To upload your own video file instead, use Photos & video on the page. Uploaded videos play at the top of the page.
