Uplisting Integration

Uplisting stays your PMS and channel manager. Haven is the branded direct-booking site, checkout, guest guide, ID check and rental agreement on top.

A native Uplisting connector is rolling out gradually; only hosts who see a Connect Uplisting card under Host Dashboard → Integrations can use it today. Everyone else connects through Haven's direct Airbnb integration. That is the full Haven product, not a lite mode.

Haven details in your Uplisting templates

On a native Uplisting connection, Haven can write four details onto each Uplisting booking so your own Uplisting message templates can use them:

Uplisting detailWhat it holds
haven_guidebook_urlThe stay's guidebook link, which signs the guest in
haven_booking_refThe Haven booking reference for the stay
haven_verification_statusWhere the guest's ID check stands (values below)
haven_agreement_statusWhere the rental agreement stands (values below)

haven_verification_status is one of:

  • verified: the guest passed the ID check.
  • pending: the guest has not finished it yet, or the check is still being reviewed.
  • failed: the check was rejected, expired, or needs the guest to try again.
  • waived: you skipped the ID check for this stay, or Haven skipped it because the guest is a returning guest and the listing does not ask them to verify again.
  • not_required: this stay is not asked for ID.

haven_agreement_status is one of:

  • signed: the guest signed the current agreement.
  • pending: the guest has not signed yet, or signed wording you have since changed and the stay has not started.
  • not_required: this stay is not asked to sign, or you skipped the agreement for it.

The values are always these lowercase words, in English, whatever language the guest uses, so a template condition on them keeps working. They never include the guest's name or contact details.

Turning it on

  1. Open Integrations and find the Uplisting card.
  2. Under Instant updates, paste your Uplisting account API key (Uplisting → Connect → API) and click Turn on. Haven writes booking details with this key.
  3. Under Booking details, switch on Add Haven details to Uplisting bookings.
  4. In Uplisting's message template editor, pick the Haven detail you want from the custom booking attributes and add it to your template.

Haven writes nothing into Uplisting until both the switch and the API key are on. If the card says Not available yet, Uplisting has not switched this on for Haven, and no values are written until it does.

When the values update

Haven writes the details when the booking syncs, and again the moment something changes on Haven's side, without waiting for the next sync:

  • the guest's ID check passes, fails, or starts being reviewed
  • you skip the ID check or the rental agreement on the reservation
  • the guest signs the rental agreement

Haven only writes a booking again when one of the four values has changed. Uplisting does not let Haven read a value back, so a value you edit by hand in Uplisting stays until Haven next writes that booking.
