Instant book decides whether a guest can book and pay straight away or has to send a request you approve first. Every listing has its own Instant book switch, and the account-wide Instant book setting lets you set all of them in one place instead of opening each listing.
It has three modes:
All on and All off cover every listing on your account, including listings you add, import, or sync from your PMS later.
/host?tab=listings).You can also reach the same sheet without leaving a listing: open the listing's Calendar page, go to the Availability tab, and click Account-wide property settings.
All on and All off do not overwrite each listing's own switch. They sit on top of it. When you switch back to Set individually, every listing returns to exactly what it was set to before. The row shows how many listings have their own switch on, for example "12 of 30 listings on", so you know what you are going back to.
While All on or All off is active, each listing's Instant book switch shows the account value and cannot be changed there. It reads "On for all your listings" or "Off for all your listings", with a Change in Property settings link. To give one listing a different setting, switch the account back to Set individually first, then change that listing.
Signed-in visitors and checkout see the new mode at once. A listing page cached for signed-out visitors can take up to about five minutes to update. If a guest starts a booking from an older copy of the page, checkout still follows your current setting, so nobody is charged under the old one.
