When guests pick dates on your property page, Haven can show a green pill on the booking bar — for example, "Saving $500 booking direct" — so they see why booking on your Haven site beats an OTA. The amount is an estimate of the extra a guest would typically pay on Airbnb, using Airbnb's 15% guest service fee as the baseline (the midpoint of their published range).
This is separate from your direct booking discount. The pill compares your Haven total to a typical Airbnb checkout; your direct booking discount (if enabled) is an additional host incentive that appears in the price breakdown at checkout.
The setting is on by default for every host.

When the setting is on and the guest has selected valid dates:
When the setting is off, the pill does not appear. Your direct booking discount (if configured) still applies in pricing and checkout — only this OTA comparison pill is hidden.
Haven multiplies the guest's Haven total for the selected stay by 15% — the same Airbnb guest-service-fee baseline Haven uses in host Stats and ROI tools. For example, a $3,335 Haven total shows roughly $500 in estimated OTA savings.
The pill does not invent a competitor list price. It is a transparent estimate based on one documented fee assumption, explained in the (i) tooltip.
