Haven Now Connects With Hostex

Hostex runs the operation. Haven extends it into a branded direct booking site and guest experience.
Book With Haven now connects natively with Hostex.
For the hosts and property managers who already run their business in Hostex, the connection removes the part of direct booking that has always been the most tedious: rebuilding, and then maintaining, the same listings, rates, calendars and reservations in a second system. Properties, prices, availability, rules and reservations keep living in Hostex. Haven uses that foundation to put a branded booking site, checkout and guest app around them.
Why Hostex
Hostex describes itself as "an all-in-one property management system (PMS) built for short-term rental hosts and property managers," and the sentence undersells how much the platform covers. As an Airbnb Preferred Software Partner, Hostex connects with Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Trip.com, Houfy and other major booking platforms, so calendars, reservations, guest communication and daily operations are managed from a single dashboard.
The automation runs deep. In Hostex's own words:
Powered by AI and smart automation, Hostex helps you automate guest messages, triggered workflows, review requests, calendar synchronization, pricing updates, check-in instructions, and team coordination. This significantly reduces repetitive work while delivering a more consistent guest experience.
Cleaning tasks generate themselves from reservations and land with the right team member. Review requests go out on schedule, and Hostex can publish and respond to reviews as well. Smart locks, dynamic pricing software, guest screening services, cleaning platforms, smart sensors and payment providers plug into the same system, and the full-featured Hostex mobile app for iOS and Android carries all of it into a pocket. Whether you manage one property or hundreds, Hostex scales with the business, and its plans start from only $4.90 per month after a 15-day free trial. Its blog is a steady source of practical guidance on channel management and automation for hosts.
That depth is exactly what makes the connection worthwhile. A Hostex user has already done the hard work. The photo library is uploaded, the amenities are coded, the minimum stays and cancellation terms are set, and every channel is kept in sync around the clock. Nobody should have to do that work twice in order to own a direct booking presence.
So the integration rests on one principle.
Hostex remains the source of truth.
How the integration works
Connect Hostex from the Integrations tab in your Haven dashboard, either by signing in with Hostex or by pasting an access token from the Hostex Host Portal. Haven then imports your properties, and keeps watching for new ones as you add them in Hostex.
Each property arrives from the listing Hostex already publishes to your channels, reading Airbnb first, then Vrbo, then Booking.com. Photos, description sections, amenities, guest capacity, bathrooms, check-in hours, house rules and the address come from that copy, together with the fees and rules attached to it: cleaning fee, security deposit, extra-guest fee, weekly and monthly discounts, early-bird and last-minute discounts, checkout time and cancellation policy. Those fields are locked in Haven's listing editor because Hostex owns them. Change them in Hostex and the change arrives on the next sync.
Open and closed dates come from the Hostex property, nightly prices and minimum stays from its channel listing. Hostex webhooks deliver changes as they happen, and background polling catches anything a webhook misses.
The imported properties can be published as individual booking sites or gathered into one portfolio under a single brand and domain.
Direct bookings flow back into Hostex
The connection runs both ways.
When a guest books on your Haven site, Haven creates the reservation in Hostex under a custom channel and an income method you choose. Most hosts file them under a channel named Haven, which Hostex lets you add on its Custom Options page, with Stripe as the income method, since Haven guests pay by card through Stripe. From there Hostex treats the stay like any other reservation and closes the dates on every connected channel. There is no iCal feed to add and no parallel calendar to reconcile.
Changes travel too. Move the dates or guest count on a Haven booking and the Hostex reservation updates, including its total when the change re-prices the stay. Cancel in Haven and the Hostex reservation is cancelled. When a guest buys early check-in or late checkout through Haven, the new arrival or departure time lands on the stay's check-in details in Hostex, where your cleaning and messaging automations can act on it.
Blocks, nightly prices and minimum stays set in Haven go back to Hostex as well, and Hostex passes them to each channel using the price ratio you already configured there. A channel set to 110% stays 10% above the Haven price.
One guest conversation, visible in both places
Guest conversations from Hostex mirror into the Haven inbox. The relationship holds in the other direction: replies you send from Haven, the guidebook and door-code messages Haven sends automatically, and your own Haven message automations post into the guest's Hostex conversation, so the guest receives them on the channel they booked through. Door codes you set on a stay's check-in details in Hostex flow into the Haven guest guide.
Hostex automations can carry Haven details too. Turn on Add Haven details to Hostex stays and Haven writes each stay's guidebook link and booking reference into Hostex custom fields, ready to drop into any Hostex message as {{cf.haven_guidebook_url}} and {{cf.haven_booking_ref}}. A Hostex check-in message can hand the guest their Haven guidebook without anyone copying a link.
Guest reviews collected in Hostex import as testimonials you can show on your site.
Where Haven fits
Hostex is built for the operational side of vacation rental management, and it is very good at it. Haven is built around the guest-facing side.
Hostex offers its own direct booking website and publishes listings to Google Vacation Rentals, and for many hosts that is a sensible place to start. Haven is for the hosts who want the direct channel to carry more weight: a fully branded site on your own domain, checkout, guest verification and rental agreements, a guest app with digital guidebooks, local recommendations and upsells, email marketing to past guests, analytics and AI guest assistance, all running on the data Hostex already maintains. The case for building that channel is laid out in our research on the future of short-term rental booking beyond the OTA, and the trade-offs between a PMS site and a dedicated one are covered in PMS booking website vs standalone builder.
A guest finds your property on your website, books directly, completes checkout, receives arrival details and a door code, and opens a guidebook that carries your brand through the stay. The reservation itself flows through Hostex the whole time, alongside the Airbnb and Vrbo stays Hostex already manages.
That separation is deliberate.
Hostex stays the operational backbone. Haven becomes the branded layer the guest sees and remembers.
