Yes. Hostex stays your system of record. Haven layers direct booking and guest experience on top without replacing your PMS workflows.

What is different from a native PMS API connection?

Haven talks to your PMS through Airbnb, not the PMS vendor private API yet. Inbound listing, pricing, calendar, and reservation data is what the PMS already publishes to Airbnb. Haven bookings and manual blocks close dates via the Haven iCal feed added in the PMS, rather than a PMS reservation-write API. Fields the PMS never sends to Airbnb cannot appear until a native API ships. We will migrate hosts who opted in when native connectors launch.

Do I need a separate Hospitable account?

No. You authorize your Airbnb account in Haven. Your team keeps running Guesty, Lodgify, or whichever PMS you use today.

Does connecting Hostex get my listings into Haven's guest search?

Yes — free. Once listings and calendars sync from Hostex, each one can appear in Haven's AI guest stay search (bookwithhaven.com/stays), where travelers describe the trip in plain language and see real availability. If you keep your own website, add its address in Settings → Booking Widget and search results send guests straight to your site. Being found costs nothing; a paid plan is only for accepting bookings through Haven.

Q: Will this feel worse than a native integration?

No. You get the same Haven direct booking site, guest app, and protection. Haven reaches your listings through Airbnb because your PMS already publishes listing content, photos, prices, availability, and reservations there — that is the same inbound data a native connector would use. The only difference is outbound: Haven bookings close dates via iCal added in your PMS.
