Would you believe one of the most popular special events in nearby Pigeon Forge, TN, is a 4-day festival about quilts? It’s true and it’s a wholesome reflection on how quilting has been a quietly resurging pastime and trade for quite a few years now. Quiltfest is actually so popular now that it used to be an after-holidays winter special event that has been moved to one of the peak tourism seasons of the year. Well, those who enjoy quilting in modern times or want to see what all the fuss is about can do so at the LeConte Convention Center between June 8th and June 11th for 2026.

Here’s what their website offers for information on this year’s events:

“FREE QUILT SHOW (June 9 – June 11) Celebrate the art and heritage of quilting at the A Mountain Quiltfest™. Quilters from all around come together at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge for this quilting event.
