    Our cabins

Four modern cabins in Sevierville and Wears Valley, each one chosen for its view of the Smokies. Hot tubs, fireplaces, game rooms and wide decks come standard.

    About

    About

A family business, four cabins and one promise: the view.

A family business with one goal

A family business with one goal

Great Smoky Vacations is family owned and operated. Our goal is to provide the best Smoky Mountain cabin rental experience possible, and we do it by matching your group with one of our mountain homes and then constantly looking for ways to make the stay smoother.

We read every email. The ones we keep describe children arriving at their Great Smoky Mountain getaway, and parents discovering that the view from the deck, with a cup of coffee, is the real reason they came.

Why a cabin, and why here

Why a cabin, and why here

Renting a cabin is the best way to experience everything Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevier County offer. The Pigeon Forge Parkway alone holds the Hollywood Wax Museum, the Titanic Museum, the Hatfield and McCoy and Dolly Parton’s Stampede dinner theaters, restaurants, shopping and go-kart tracks.

Gatlinburg is a small, lively town at the foot of the national park: shops, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, the Hollywood car museum, Sugarlands Distillery, the aquarium, and banjo playing in the streets.

Wears Valley Road, off traffic light number 3 on the Parkway, runs down to Townsend at the edge of Cades Cove. Along the way are the Alpine Slide, Goats on the Roof, TN Shine Distillery, the food truck park (try Gapettos) and the Metcalf Bottoms picnic area inside the park.

The park by day, the deck by night

The park by day, the deck by night

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is full of beauty and history. There are hiking trails for every ability, and driving trails lined with old homesteads for those who would rather see the park from the car.

After a day of exploring, hiking and shopping, it is good to come back to a modern cabin and simply be together. Challenge the family to pool or shuffleboard, or sit on the deck and look out at Mt. LeConte. Our guests tell us they feel far away from it all, even though the Parkway and Gatlinburg are minutes down the road.

    Built for the view

    Built for the view

Every one of our homes has jetted tubs, a hot tub, hardwood floors and the best in all-wood workmanship. The mountain views are the best around. If a view is what you have come to the Smokies for, we have one for you.

Come experience for yourself the difference Great Smoky Vacations can make.

    Meet your hosts

    Meet your hosts

We are a couple who fell in love with the Smokies on our first visit. My husband is retired from Bank of America; I am a CPA and prepare personal income tax returns. He likes to relax on vacation. I like to conquer one. The deck, it turns out, satisfies us both.

Nothin’ But Views was our first Smoky Mountain home. The others followed as we found cabins we would want to stay in ourselves.
