Bringing your dog to the Smokies
You do not have to leave your four-legged family member behind to enjoy East Tennessee. Three of our cabins welcome pets (Kiss the Clouds, Our Smoky Mountain View and Smoky Mountain Splendor), and from there the dog-friendly trails of the national park, the town parks, scenic drives, outdoor attractions, shopping districts and patio restaurants are all within reach.

Tips for exploring the Smokies with your pets
- Keep your pets leashed wherever required.
- Carry water, a portable bowl and waste bags.
- Never leave a pet unattended in a hot vehicle.
- Keep pets away from bears, elk and other wildlife.
- Check pet policies before visiting attractions and restaurants.
- Bring vaccination records when using boarding facilities.
- Check pavement temperatures in warm weather.
At the cabin: pets must be crate trained and crated while you sleep or whenever they are left alone. Please clean up after your pet, keep them off the furniture and on a flea and tick program. Each pet-friendly cabin has a crate that holds a dog of up to 80 pounds.
