BlueShadows(hottub+piano)

I had a lovely, soul restoring stay at Christopher's place this week! I booked it largely for the piano and the hot tub, and took copious advantage of both. The space is cozy, well appointed, clean and very comfortable. I felt perfectly safe and secure as a single female traveler. Be prepared for the dirt roads leading in and out of the immediate neighborhood, but everywhere you could possibly need to go is within a 20-30 min drive! I can't wait to come back, thanks for hosting me!

We went in knowing it was going to be beautiful, and what we experienced went far beyond what our expectations could imagine. Christopher is a more than gracious host and has meticulously curated a desert cabin into a getaway for the mind. We are truly grateful for our experience and will definitely return in the future. We have also already begun to recommend this location to friends.

I have stayed in Joshua tree many times, this was one of the best spots I’ve ever stayed. Every detail was thought of and more! Little details like coffee, condiments, books and a record player was provided. Also had first class amenities like a Moccamaster coffee maker 👌, movie projector with screen, Aesop soap and high quality linens. Instructions didn’t leave anything out. Host was communicative and helpful. The jacuzzi was perfect and clean. The entire house was spotless. You can tell the place is well maintained regularly. We went for R&R and star gazing and there are beautiful dark skies here and the stars pop! We watched the stars from the jacuzzi. Very quiet and serene.

My experience at Christopher's place was nothing short of an amazing. The views were beautiful, the sunset breathtaking. The house was perfect, the decor was the perfect balanced - to coin a phrase- Mid Century Organic. It was beautifully curated, from the extremely clean and comfortable hot tub under the stars to the Black Steinway piano and collection of Vinyl Records. I watch the sunset to Chet Baker and diamond on the soles of her shoes at sunrise , it was no just a lovely stay, it was an unforgettable experience.
