Bring your whole crew to Anchor House! This eclectic house is in the popular Windy Hill Section of North Myrtle Beach and just a mile to Barefoot Landing among many restaurants, entertainment and more! Just a short block away is the main attraction-the beach. As if that wasn't enough, you have a huge saltwater pool. This house is divided into two separate units with their own living, dining and kitchens. This is perfect for larger groups who want to vacation together but have separate spaces.

The space

Anchor House is made up of two separate units-Anchors Up and Anchors Down.

• Anchors Up-Top Unit-3 King bedrooms, one bedroom with a full bed, and a bunk with a single/double beds. There are three bathrooms. Sleeps 10
• Anchors Down-Bottom Unit-3 King bedrooms and the fourth bedroom has two full beds. There are two bathrooms. Sleeps 11

The kitchen has stainless appliances and quartz countertops. The house has a great coastal vibe and can comfortably sleep 21 people. There is a washer/dryer in each unit and plenty of parking (up to 8 vehicles). After hanging out at the amazing beach just a short block away, come relax by the saltwater pool for the afternoon. There is a large backyard/patio area where many of our guests hang out. Anchors Up has an amazing upper deck where you can see the sparkling ocean. Anchors Down has a comfortable shaded porch perfect for having an afternoon cocktail. Each bedroom comes equipped with flat screen TVs along with large TVs in the living areas. Each unit has their own Alexa to look up restaurants or play music.

This house is in the prime location and is close to Barefoot landing, House of Blues, Tanger Outlets, golf, shops, entertainment -the list goes on and on! Book Anchor House today!

Please note there is an additional third unit with its own driveway and private entrance (Anchors Away). This one-bedroom unit can be rented at an additional cost. When this unit is rented they do not have access to the pool or backyard.

Guest access

There are two parking areas for Anchor House. Each area fits up to four vehicles so the two lots allows for eight vehicles. This includes motorcycles. Most guests in North Myrtle Beach prefer to rent golf carts. We allow parking of golf carts in the parking area.

Other things to note

Please note that there is another one-bedroom, first floor unit in the back of the house (Anchors Away). This unit is for short term rentals and the guests have their own completely separate entrance and driveway. Guests staying here have no access to the patio, pool, or pool area. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN POOL or POOL AREA! A $250 cleaning fee will apply if any dogs enter the pool.

Bath towels and linens are included in the cleaning fee. We provide a starter pack of toilet paper for each bathroom, and a roll of paper towels per kitchen. Beach towels are not included.

NO PARTIES/EVENTS/UNAUTHORIZED OR UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED-Primary Guest must be at least 25 years old and present during the entire stay. Only registered/approved guests are allowed to be on the premises including the pool area. We do not allow for other visitors or overnight guests without prior approval from hosts.

It is not uncommon to encounter insects such as palmetto bugs or wildlife in this tropical climate. While we take preventative measures to keep critters/bugs out with pest control, there is a possibility where one or two come through an opening. Please keep doors closed to help keep insects out.

NO SMOKING/VAPING INSIDE OR NEAR ENTRANCES: Please refrain from smoking/vaping in or around the house. Any smoking evidence will result in a $250 fee for odor removal.

There are 2 cameras in the front of the house, both in the top left corner and side of the front porch. They face the bottom porch and parking area and the side parking area. They may be recording at any time. There is also an Amazon Alexa in each dining area on each floor. They can be unplugged by guests if guest desires.

There is a charcoal grill is provided as a courtesy and we cannot guarantee its functionality. Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill and providing their cooking supplies. The pool is cleaned once a week during non-peak and twice a week during peak season. You may see a person from the cleaning company cleaning the pool. We also have a landscaping company who mows the lawn and you may see him on the premises. Members of our maintenance team can also be present on the property. Guests are responsible for skimming debris out of the pool in between cleanings. Guests can request an additional cleaning at guest's cost if possible. The ice maker is a courtesy and may or may not be functional during your stay.

There is also a locked closet in the downstairs unit near the laundry area that guests don’t have access to. It has supplies in it for our cleaners.

Guests may encounter members of our staff on the property during their stay including property maintenance members, cleaners, landscapers and pool cleaners.

You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect.

Additional Rules

GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES:

1. That this accommodation is a privately owned dwelling with the Owner's furnishings and the owner shall not be responsible for providing any additional furnishings or equipment not available presently in the unit.
2. The Owner of this dwelling shall not be liable for damage or injury to tenant or to any other person, or to any property occurring on the premises or any part thereof, and tenant agrees to hold Owner harmless for any claims for damage, no matter how caused.
3. To honor check-in time as 4 PM on Saturday and check-out time the next Saturday at 9 AM
4. The Owner will not be responsible for personal items Guest may bring and/or leave in the unit. However, Owner will make a diligent effort to locate left items of importance and return to Guest. Guest agrees to pay for cost to cover expense of packaging and mailing.
5. Occupancy will be limited to the number of Guests unit will accommodate and approved of by Owner. Parking will be limited to the number of spaces advertised for unit. Vehicles in excess of this number will be subject to towing at Guest's expense. The Guest may not wash, repair, or paint in the driveway or any other common area on the premises.
6. There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit (beach towels are not), daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Garbage must be taken out to the proper bins outside the house.
7. To indemnify Owner for any damage to the rental unit grounds, furnishings, equipment, and household items, therein, which occur during the Guest's period of occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. Guests agree to accept financial responsibility for any damage to any of the above. Guests understand that any damages which are discovered to exist, or, which occur during Guest's occupancy, should be reported to Owner at the earliest possible. Either by email, text, or by phone.
8. That if Renter or any member of his/her party violates any of the conditions or agreements of this contract, Owner may terminate this contract and enter the premises. Specifically, the Owner may eject a person or persons from the premises for reasons including but not limited to 1) nonpayment, 2) disorderly conduct so as to create a public nuisance, 3) the person is using the premise for unlawful purpose including but not limited to possession of a controlled substance or consumption of alcohol by a person under the age of 21, or 4) any other reason allowed by law (HOUSE PARTIES ARE PROHIBITED). Owner has final authority in deciding if occupants are a group or a house party or if the grounds for ejection have been met. Should Owner decide, occupancy will either not be permitted or terminated, and all rent will be forfeited. No exceptions. Owner strictly rents to families, couples, and responsible adults. Minimum check-in age is 25. The renter of record who is 25 or older must always be present to provide responsible adult supervision.
9. That even the best equipment, appliances, internet service, and TVs occasionally malfunction. The Owner cannot guarantee them to perform 100% of the time. However, we do guarantee to correct the problem as soon as possible. Guests agree to allow Owner or their representatives to enter the property at reasonable hours to make timely repairs or inspections. No refunds will be made for mechanical failure or property cleanliness.
10. Guests have been provided with, and acknowledge receipt of, a copy of the House Rules. Guests agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Owner, and anyone else the Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all time while at the property.

House Rules

1. For the safety and protection of our guest there are three surveillance cameras located on the outside of the property including two cameras in the front of the building on the front deck and also one in the side of the house facing the rear driveway. These cameras may be recording during your visit. There is also a fire extinguisher under each kitchen sink and smoke detectors throughout the unit. Tampering with these devices is prohibited. We also may require a copy of the primary guest’s government issued ID upon arrival at the latest. This is to ensure the ID matches the name on their account.
2. Guests must clean up after their animals both in and outside of the home. Dogs must not create a nuisance by excessive dog barking. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA.
3. Perishable items may be found left behind by previous guests. Guests are welcome to use, discard or leave them for the next guest. Owner does not provide any food items.
4. Guests should keep shower drains free of hair. DO NOT put any type of oil or grease down any drain.
5. Guests should not hang clothing or towels over balconies. Climbing on or over the balconies is not allowed. Guest should observe children closely while on the balcony and pool area for safety reasons.
6. Quiet Hours: Please respect other guests by following quiet hours from 10pm-7am.
7. Smoking is not allowed in the building or in the pool area. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly.
8. Primary Guest must sign contract and provide photo Identification.
9. No parking in the neighbor’s driveway or on the grass/lawn.
10. The storage area on the first floor is off limits to guest.
11. No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. Also, use of the pool is for registered guests ONLY.
12. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
13. Lint traps need to be cleaned after each use.
14. Make sure to turn off the lights and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the doors.
15. Photo/video shoots require advance permission and additional payment.
16. Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.
17. Use of the charcoal grills must be done in a responsible manner. We are not responsible for cleaning grills after guests.
18. If there is a problem or concern, please text the owner at the appropriate time for a fast response. In the event of an emergency call 911 and then the owner.
19. Flushing anything besides toilet paper down the toilets is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, wipes of any kind and feminine hygiene products.
20. Guests are unable to have mail/packages shipped to the house.

Departure Instructions

1. Kitchen: wash any dishes
2. Floors and Surfaces: remove obvious messes
3. Trash and Recycling: discard in the bins outside
4. Towels: leave in bathtubs or on bathroom floors
5. Bed Linens: we will strip the beds
6. Furniture and Items: Return to their places-place remotes on tables
7. Double check: you have all your items
8. Turn off: cooking appliances, lights, fans
9. Close and Lock: windows and doors.
