This is your direct booking launch checklist. A live booking page with no traffic gets no bookings, so the goal is to make Haven the place guests go when they are ready to book you — not a side link you mention once. Work through the steps below in order. The first one matters most.
The highest-priority step is to use Haven as the Book now link everywhere you already represent your brand:
If you have a marketing website, start by pointing its primary Book now or Check availability button to your Haven direct booking page. That single change turns every site visitor who is ready to book into a direct guest. See Add Haven to your existing website for step-by-step instructions, including what to send a web developer.
Add your Haven booking link to the bio of every social profile you use. This is the link people tap after they see a photo of your place, so make it easy to find.

A clean, branded link is easier to say out loud and to remember. If you have not already, set up a custom URL or connect a custom domain so your address reflects your property's name.
Your warmest audience is people who have stayed with you or already trust you. Send your link directly to past guests, friends, and family, by email or text. A short, personal note works better than anything polished: tell them you now take bookings directly on your own site and would love to host them or anyone they know.
Share the link wherever you already chat: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, group chats, and local community groups where promoting your rental is welcome. A direct link in a conversation converts well because the person is already engaged.
For anyone you meet face to face, a QR code turns a conversation into a booking. Print it on a business card, a flyer, or a sign, and people can scan straight through to your site.
If you have guests from Airbnb, Vrbo, or other channels who loved their stay, a personal follow-up can bring them back direct next time. This is a retention tactic, not your main launch strategy — prioritize your website button, social bios, and warm contacts first. A simple note that you now book direct on your own site, with your Haven link, is enough.
Direct sharing brings the first bookings fastest, but you can also build longer-term discoverability. A complete public host profile and attention to SEO and discoverability help people find you through search over time. And once you have happy guests, the referral program can turn them into a source of new bookings.
Once those are in place, traffic is coming — and your first direct booking is a matter of time.
