Your Public Host Profile is shown to guests on your property pages. It lets you add a display name, photo, and short bio so guests can learn about you before booking.
Where to Find It
- Host Dashboard > Settings tab — Expand the Public Host Profile card to edit directly in the dashboard.
- Direct link — Navigate to
/host/public-profile for the full editing page.
You can edit your profile either way; both show the same form and live preview.

/host/public-profile.
- In the Photo (optional) section, find the upload area.
- Drag and drop an image onto the upload area, or click to select a file from your device.
- Wait for the upload to complete. A preview appears when done.

Display Name (Required)
Your display name is required and appears as "Hosted by [Your Name]" on property pages. Enter how you want guests to see you.
Short Bio (Optional)
Add a short bio (up to 160 characters) to introduce yourself. This appears below your name on the host profile card. Use the Writing assistant button next to the field to get AI-generated suggestions based on your profile and properties.
Base Location and Languages (Optional)
- Base location — e.g., "Gloucester, MA"
- Languages — Up to 3 languages, comma-separated (e.g., "English, Spanish, French")
Show on Property Pages
Toggle Show on property pages to display your host profile card on each of your property listings. This toggle is only available after you add a display name.
Live Preview
When editing, a live preview shows how your profile will appear to guests. Use it to confirm your photo, name, and bio look right before saving.
