It's renowned for its delectable pastries, hearty brekkies and, of course, expertly crafted coffee that will likely leave you saying, "That's one of the best coffees in Bali." You can even buy beans to take home and keep the experience going. We love Revolver because it's so convenient, only 100m from Saudara Sunshine and Saudara Love, making it a super easy stroll once you're up and about. They're open late too, so it's a great spot to pop in for an Espresso Martini on the way home.

Local Coffee
This hidden little gem; Local Coffee is a hidden gem that boasts a laid-back ambiance and a casual menu that will appeal to all. The coffee is a specialty and consistently good!. Located in the back streets of Seminyak along a cut-through between Kudeta Beach and Double Six Beach, you'll find Local Coffee on Jalan Sari Dewi. Kynd Community
If you're after a vego brekkie, Kynd Community is a ripper. Everything on the menu is vegetarian, and it's so good that even the meat eaters in your group won't miss a thing. The Big Boss Breaky comes with scrambled tofu or a fried egg, smokey bakon, pesto mushrooms, avo, hummus and hash brown, and the Beacon Benedict has tempe bacon, avo, spinach and hollandaise on an English muffin. If you're keen for something lighter, there's the Avo Toast 2.0 with pesto and roasted cherry tomatoes, or the Shaka Shuka. For something sweeter, the Paradise Pancakes and the acai bowls are the go, and you can even get your name written on top in watermelon. Test yourself on a piece of "bakon" (aka fake bacon) and see if you can tell the difference. Sea Salt
Sea Salt, part of Alila Seminyak, serves up a breakfast you really can't fault, with ocean views that make you feel like you're sitting on a movie set. It would have to be the best breakfast view in the area, and it's an all you can eat experience with a finer twist, so it's definitely not your standard hotel buffet. Make sure you have a few good hours up your sleeve, because you'll want to make the most of the unlimited coffees, juices and food. Choose your main from the menu and it's prepared fresh for you, then wander over to the extra stations for pastries, cereals, sweet cakes and fruit. It's the kind of view that really makes you realise you're on holidays. Make sure your're hungry before going as the cost is approximately $45 AUD, but remember you can sit there for hours, have endless coffees and juices and choose as many items off the menu as you like!

A little cheap and cheerful hidden gem, Big Boss Warung captures the essence of local flavours and traditional breakfast favourites all done simply and well. This local little 'warung' has really excelled to embrace Western culture and fare with their hearty breakfast spreads and amazing local coffee. ‘Warung’ means “local place to eat” and this beautiful local family have done an amazing job of bringing both western culture and local culture together to please everyone with prices that keep everyone happy.
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:

Brunch Club
Brunch Club, on the main street of Legian, is a popular one with the tourists, and it's easy to see why if you've got kids in tow. The pancakes are the drawcard. The staff make them wobble on the way to the table, and the little ones love it. They're perfectly round, very sweet and a bit like a soufflé on steroids, so they make for a great photo. The menu is well portioned with plenty of other options if a sweet brekkie isn't your jam. It's worth a visit once, especially with the family.
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:
Strawberry Crumble Porncakes
-
Fresco
Fresco is a cute spot for a morning treat, with a menu that's fun, friendly and good looking, and the taste to back it up. It's on Jalan Padma in Legian, right across from the Padma Legian resort, and it's an easy walk from Seminyak if you take the beach path between Seminyak and Kuta. They're open daily from 8am and the chefs source fresh produce from local Bali farms, so the menu feels fresh. There's something for everyone, from big brekkies and chilli scrambled eggs with feta to smoothie bowls and salmon bruschetta, plus nasi goreng if you're after an Indonesian classic. Gluten free bread and alternative milks are on offer too. The fit out is super cute, and you can sit indoors or outdoors and watch the world go by. I particularly love a coffee here because the mugs are HUGE! There's an ice creamery attached as well if the kids need a treat.
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:
Smashed Avo on Sourdough
-
Crumb & Coaster
Crumb & Coaster is a cosy, locally owned cafe that's been going since 2016, tucked into the backstreets of Kuta on Jalan Benesari. It's a little further from Seminyak than our other suggestions, but we absolutely love it, and you can get there on the path that runs the whole way between Seminyak and Kuta, so it makes a perfect treat after a morning walk. The menu is big and has something for everyone, with a mix of Western brunch and Indonesian classics. The coffee French toast is a standout, and the smoothie bowls, breakfast burrito and croissant benedict are all worth a look. They do gluten free options too, and they're open daily from 7:30am, so there's no rush. Oh, and did we mention the coffee? It's sooooooo good, one of the best in our opinion!
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:
Vegetarian Omelette with a side of Smashed Avo.
-
Biku
Biku is a charming, eclectic eatery in the Seminyak area that's been around for years, best known for its high teas, with traditional, Asian and breakfast versions on offer. It has recently relocated up the road to Jalan Taman Ganesha, and if you visited the old venue you'll be amazed at how they've recreated the exact same atmosphere. They literally dismantled the 150 year old teak joglo from East Java piece by piece and rebuilt it on the new site. With its blend of traditional Indonesian charm and colonial British decor, it feels like a step back in time, and there's a bookshop and homewares in the mix too. When it comes to breakfast, Biku does not disappoint. Our favourite dish has to be the soft poached eggs with spinach and hollandaise, served on a homemade buttermilk and chive scone rather than your standard toast!! The menu is split into healthy, classic, Indonesian and something different, so there's plenty to choose from, including smoothie bowls, chia pods, scrambled tofu and Indian lentil pancakes with coconut sambal. If you're feeling hungry, the High Breakfast comes with croissants, Danish pastries, corn cakes, omelette, sausages and grilled tomato. Save room for the carrot cake or a scone with cream and jam, and make the most of the extensive tea list, with plenty of aromatic blends to match whatever you order. There's a kids' menu too, with colouring in and toys to keep the little ones busy.
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:
Egg benedict served on a chive scone (add smashed avo).
-
Kudeta
Ku De Ta is Bali's first ever beach club, right on the Seminyak beachfront, and it's a lovely spot to start the day with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. Most people know it for sunset drinks, but breakfast here is a nice surprise, and it's much quieter in the morning. The Signature Benedict on house baked English muffins is a good choice, and so are the Protein Pancakes with blueberry compote and the Big Breakfast if you're hungry. There's a vegan friendly Acai and Blueberry Bircher as well, and they have gluten free options too. It's a bit pricier than the cafes on our list, but you're paying for a breakfast on the sand with the ultimate view!.
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:
The 'Set Big Breakfast" that includes a small juice and coffee
-
Nude
Nüde is relatively new to Seminyak, but it's well known across Bali, with venues in Berawa, Babakan and Pererenan in Canggu, as well as Umalas. The menu is big and easy to love, with blueberry pancakes, French toast, colourful smoothie bowls, smashed avo on toast and a massive big breakfast for the hungry. There are healthy salads and wraps for later in the day, plus burgers, milkshakes and wheatgrass shots if you're feeling virtuous. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu, and it's family friendly, so it works well if you have kids in tow. It's a reliable choice for a no fuss brekkie.
OUR FAVOURITE DISH:
The Truffled Scrambled Eggs
