With seven beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, all with private balconies or patios, every space has been thoughtfully designed to embrace the spectacular coastal setting.

The spacious bedroom features a king-size extra-length bed, a sun-soaked daybed and sliding glass doors opening onto a large, glass-fronted balcony.
Perched at the front of the top floor, Honeymoon Rise is a wonderfully romantic suite with hypnotic views across the ocean. There is something magical about lying in bed with the blinds open and the glass sliding doors ajar, watching the silver path of moonlight stretch across the sea towards your pillows.
Other suites include Bikini Bottom, The Slipway, A-Sea-See, Bruces Beauties and Endless Summer, each offering thoughtfully designed spaces with private balconies or patios and expansive coastal views. The Oyster Bed is ideally positioned to enjoy many of St Francis Bay's attractions without having to venture far.
St Francis Bay is made for cycling, with a variety of purpose built cycle paths and trails. Choose a relaxed ride through the village or head further afield for adventurous outings through the numerous coastal bush tracks. There are routes to suit different levels of fitness and ability, so bring your bicycle or we can arrange a rental for you to explore at your own pace.
Sometimes the best holiday activity is doing absolutely nothing! Spend the day beside the pool, or head into the ocean for an early morning swim, surf or snorkel. After your time in the water, unwind with a sauna and let the holiday feeling take over. And if you prefer to stay dry, simply settle back on the deck and watch the waves, surfers and abundant marine life passing by.
The Cape Clawless Otter is indigenous to St Francis Bay and has learnt to live side by side with it’s human neighbours. A few Otter families have made their home on the Shark Point headland and can be seen up close entering the water in the evenings. Knowing where to be, at the right time, is key! Your 3 night stay at The Oyster Bed includes an evening excursion to see these fascinating, wild creatures.
Start the day with a coffee or breakfast at Bruce's Coffee Shop, or pop in for a relaxed lunch. It is also a great place to watch the activity on the water and soak up the local atmosphere.
Take a stroll through the St Francis Bay Community Gardens, where beautiful gardens and abundant birdlife provide a peaceful escape. Literally across the road from The Oyster Bed this is a lovely spot for a quiet walk, photography or simply enjoying the natural beauty of trees, flowers and birdsong.
For those who love the sea, St Francis Bay is hard to beat. The Oyster Bed is perfectly positioned to enjoy the area's famous surf spots, including Bruce's Beauties, Huletts Reef and the beaches and surf spots between the groins. The surrounding coastline offers plenty of opportunities for an active fun day — or simply a great place to sit and watch the action. You don't need to go far to find beautiful walks and trails around St Francis Bay. Explore coastal paths, nature areas, dunes and quieter roads while keeping an eye out for the area's wildlife and birdlife. Some walks are perfect for a gentle morning outing, while others are better suited to those looking for a longer adventure. The changing light along the coast also makes the area particularly beautiful at sunrise and sunset — so remember your camera!
Golfers are spoilt for choice with both St Francis Links and St Francis Bay Golf Club close by. Enjoy a round at St Francis Links, one of the country's acclaimed golf courses, or experience the more traditional coastal setting of St Francis Bay Golf Club. There are also a number of tournaments and golfing events held throughout the year, making it easy to combine a holiday with a little friendly competition.
Bring your own boat and enjoy the unique network of St Francis Bay canals, the Kromme River and the open sea. Alternatively, join one of the local charters for a day on the water. St Francis Bay has a long fishing heritage and is home to an important calamari (choke) fishing industry.
