Our rental policies
Each home's page carries its own rental agreement and rules; these apply everywhere. Making a reservation and submitting payment forms a binding rental agreement to them.
No house parties
There are no house parties allowed at any of our homes. Quiet hours after 10 pm.
Minimum age to rent
The minimum age differs by home; most require the primary renter to be 25 or older and present for the whole stay. Check the home's page.
Deposit and payment
A reservation deposit holds the dates and is deducted from the rental fee. The balance is due no later than two months before arrival; a balance unpaid by then may be cancelled. The checkout here shows the schedule for your dates.
Damage protection
We provide accidental rental damage protection for every stay: $45 covers up to $1,500 of accidental damage and $69 covers up to $3,000, and one or the other is required for each home. It protects you from being financially responsible for accidents during your stay; it does not cover intentional acts or vandalism, and guests are responsible for damage beyond the policy's limit. A credit card is kept on file for that case.
Cancellation
The cancellation terms for your stay are shown on the home's page and at checkout before you pay. We strongly recommend travel insurance, which can protect you against illness, travel delays and family emergencies that no cancellation policy covers.
Pets
Dogs are allowed at four of our homes on a case-by-case basis only, with approval before arrival and a non-refundable pet fee ($50 to $100 per dog, by home). Bringing a pet without approval can end the stay without refund. Pets must be well-mannered, house-trained and never left to roam.
Problems and broken items
Please report any cleaning concern on arrival and any damage or broken item straight away, so we can put it right. No home can guarantee that every appliance will work for the whole stay; we will make every reasonable effort to repair or replace anything you report.
Smoking
No smoking inside any home. Little Creek Retreat, our campground, allows smoking outdoors.
