We had a wonderful visit at La Luna Cabin. The house is beautifully decorated and wonderfully appointed. The kitchen is well-stocked, though it may be helpful to note that there is no microwave. We enjoyed the outdoor area - in addition to two lounge chairs and a bench on the deck, there is a large table behind the house for outdoor eating or game-playing.
The tubs offered a relaxing soak on chilly nights, but we found that the hot water ran out before the tubs were full. If you want to use both tubs, fill them until the hot water is gone, then wait about twenty minutes for the hot water heater to refill (we could hear a clicking sound as it heated the water in the tank). At that point you can top the tubs off with what you need.
The cabin feels like a retreat, but it is not far from the main drag of Yucca Valley. We had dinner at Pappy and Harriet's and La Copine (each about 15 minutes from the cabin) and thoroughly enjoyed both. We also had breakfast at Larry and Milt's Western Cafe which was delicious.
Overall, we had a great experience at La Luna Cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Our stay at Little Cactus in Joshua Tree was a dream – earning a well-deserved 5-star rating! Tucked in the heart of downtown, it offered a private oasis, conveniently close to local attractions and the national park. The bohemian chic décor combined with modern amenities added a cozy, upscale charm. The private backyard was a haven, featuring a fire pit and hammock – ideal for serene evenings under the stars. The home was well-equipped with everything needed for comfort: a full kitchen, smart TV, WiFi, and a dedicated workspace, seamlessly blending relaxation with practicality. Safety features like outdoor lighting and a fully fenced yard provided peace of mind. The warmth and attentiveness of our hosts amplified the experience, making us feel truly at home. Little Cactus isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a delightful experience in the heart of Joshua Tree. Eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

We partner and our dog stayed at the Outside Inn after I had spent over a month quarantining with family prior to Thanksgiving 2020. We decided we wanted to do some post-Thanksgiving decompression on the drive back to San Francisco. The Outside Inn had everything we needed. The location is perfect; close enough for you to drive to what you need, but far enough away from the town of Joshua Tree to feel really secluded. This was a new listing when we stayed, which can always be a bit of a gamble, but everything felt really dialed. The hot tub was great for watching the sunset and moonrise over either horizon. (The moon was so low!) And if you are looking at these pictures wondering if laying in that bed next to the gas fire place after a day of hiking while watching TV will be amazing or not, let me assure you, it will be.

We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking and barbecuing easy, and we ended up spending most of our time enjoying the house rather than going out.
The amenities were great, we loved the jacuzzi, pool room, and ping pong, and the backyard was beautiful with plenty to do. Communication was excellent; when we had a quick question at checkout, the host responded within minutes. The guestbook was very informative, and the location was perfect for enjoying the local coffee shop, restaurant, and an early morning visit to the Cholla Cactus Garden. This was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday, and our family had a wonderful time.

This place was awesome--perfect place to spend a weekend here to relax. You'll have to drive into a dirt driveway but it was easy to find because of the yellow JTree painting on the side of the house. Inside it can get a little humid during the summer nights, but it's fine when you turn on the AC. Another thing was that we found a large wind spider and a few large ants crawling around by the entry way. I don't think you can help it. Other than that, the place is really clean inside and has a nice kitchen area. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would come here again. Definitely recommend if you want to celebrate with friends, family, or your significant other

Beautifully crafted property in a semi-remote area a mile north of Joshua Tree park. If you are looking to get away and unplug, this property is for you. Added bonus is the hot tub which you can enjoy at night as you stargaze, the bus which has a bed and area for you to read and drink your coffee, and just a few step away is a spare room with a tub overlooking the mountains that you and/or your partner can enjoy. You’ll enjoy every bit of this property and if you are into cooking, you’ll love the kitchen as it has everything you need. My wife and I fell in love with this home and we look forward to returning soon!

I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place for a weekend getaway. Though you’re only a few minutes away from downtown Joshua Tree, you feel like you’re in your own little world at the Outside Inn. Lulu’s attention to detail really shines throughout this humble home. From the pristine decor and thoughtful layout all the way to the high-quality kitchen tools, fancy towels/robes, and environmentally conscious bathroom accessories (currently ordering bamboo toilet paper!), every detail of the space was thoughtful and intentional and shows just how much Lulu cares about her guests’ experience. Thank you, Lulu!

Super cute place! Very clean and well appointed. Location is good. Our favorite place to eat was the Joshua Tree Salon. It was just a short walk. Must see - Joshua Tree National Park sunrise at the Cholla Cactus Garden, Arch Rock, Skull Rock, Barker Dam (saw big horn sheep!!), Hidden Valley, sunrise at Keys View. I'm sure there is more but this is what we had time to see. Also, Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum, Glass Outhouse Art Gallery, Pioneertown and do the Integratron experience. Thanks again Nicky for a great experience!

Great spot -- close to Joshua Tree National Park and also close to town. When you don't want to leave having pickleball, a pool, and a hot tub (inside the pool -- great concept!) makes it so you don't have to!
We were initially nervous one of the bedrooms was in the "pool house" but loved they were all in the same building. The whole place is sprawling with tons of space inside and out. We really enjoyed our time at the park and the property.

We had a wonderful stay at Mojave Pool Club. The space is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and felt really special with the natural clay surroundings. The beds were great, and we loved having the pool safely covered with kids around.
The host was fantastic—very responsive and came right away to fix the projector with new cords. The pool table in the pool house was a fun bonus after the kids went to bed.
We’d absolutely stay again!
