We're an Arizona family with a lifelong love of travel, adventure, and discovering new cultures. Our hosting journey began in 2018, when we found Cozy Cub Log Cabin tucked among the pines of Pinetop-Lakeside. What started with one special mountain retreat grew into a small collection of stays chosen with the same care we look for when traveling ourselves. Today, we remain family-owned and personally involved, pairing genuine hospitality with the comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful details that help every getaway feel easy.
Mountains to Coast
Pines and Beaches brings together two places our family loves: the cool mountain air of Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, and the sun-soaked Pacific coast around Jacó and Herradura, Costa Rica. One invites lake days, forest trails, snowy adventures, and evenings by the fire. The other offers warm water, wildlife, surfing, and an easygoing pura vida rhythm. Different landscapes, same promise: a welcoming home base for couples, families, friends, and guests traveling with pets at participating homes.
