Welcome to TimberHill

Island water and mountain air, from the same two hosts

Tom and Hillery are real estate professionals with a combined 45 years of experience who discovered St. Croix almost by accident — and fell in love so fast they made an offer on their second villa within minutes of it hitting the market. Today TimberHill is three private-pool villas above the Caribbean and a creekside cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains of Georgia, each one furnished by them and hosted by them, with an on-island manager on St. Croix and a reply from Tom and Hillery any time you need one. The calendars here are live, booking is direct, and the rate you see already includes the fees.

The beauty of St. Croix

...shhhhh!

St. Croix is one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean. No high-rise condos, no mega resorts, no overcrowded beaches — just tucked-away sand where many days you have the beach to yourselves, and some of the best snorkeling in the world.

A note from Tom and Hillery

We discovered St. Croix almost by accident, and immediately fell in love with the island: breathtaking beaches we often had to ourselves, great restaurants, and the friendliest people. We bought Mojito Hill in May 2021, made an offer on Splash of Lime within minutes of it hitting the market, and later added Flamingo Palms above Christiansted. Blackberry Hill came the same year, because Tom spent years in Idaho and missed those mountain weekends.

Our favourite day on St. Croix: pack the backpack cooler we provide, drive to Point Udall, walk the 15 minutes down to Isaac’s Bay, enjoy a Leatherback seltzer on an empty beach, then come home to the pool and watch the sun go behind the mountains. We would love to share all of it with you.

Blackberry Hill

Blackberry Hill is the mountain escape: a three-storey rustic cabin tucked into the woods with Blackberry Creek running along the property line and deer and wild turkey as regular visitors. The top floor is the king master suite with its own balcony — the spot for morning coffee over the creek. The main level has a queen bedroom, a modern kitchen, a gas fireplace and a screened porch with an outdoor wood-burning fireplace; the finished basement is the hangout zone, with a queen-over-full bunk room, its own bathroom, a pool table, a wet bar and a third fireplace. Outside: the hot tub under the stars and a new flagstone fire pit for marshmallows. It feels a world away and is ten minutes from downtown Blue Ridge on fully paved roads — and dogs are warmly welcomed with no pet fees at all.
