We had a wonderful stay at the Snapper Shack! The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect for exploring Carrabelle and the beautiful Forgotten Coast. Our host, Linda, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. She went above and beyond by accommodating an early check-in, which made traveling with our dogs so much easier. Her kindness and hospitality truly made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind with a host who genuinely cares about her guests, I highly recommend the Snapper Shack. We’d gladly stay here again!
I LOVED visiting the Forgotten Coast, and Carrabelle itself is very cute. The home had everything we needed. It is clean, cutely decorated, dog friendly, and the host gave clear instructions. We used the hot tub every evening. We were fortunate to be able to climb Crooked River Lighthouse on a Moon Night, and also visit the WWII museum and Carabelle Beach with our dog. I’m probably too adventurous to stay again, but it is not out of the picture! We can’t decide if the Snapper Shack is our favorite or #2 of our Airbnb experiences.
We had a long stay due to waiting on our home to close, and we were so grateful to have a larger space for our big family! We had all we needed, a clean space, and a very responsive host who always made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this B&B for a great local spot when visiting Versailles. It’s a quick, short walk to downtown!
The Snapper Shack is a great place to stay for people with a boat. It had plenty of parking for our boat. It is very convenient to several boat ramps on the Carrabelle River, and very convenient to the local restaurants. It’s a short drive to several other small towns which are fun to explore. We will definitely stay here again!!
Such a cozy at home feeling. Very equipped place, has everything you need. The hot tub was our favorite part and our dogs loved the yard. 2 minutes away from the beach what more can you ask for. Great and responsive host.
We were in for the Breeders’ Cup weekend. It was a perfect location for us. Linda was very easy to communicate with.
