Spacious rooms with barn-wood walls and solid oak furniture, a master bath with a claw-foot soaking tub, a bunk room for four, a gas grill with a view to die for, a fire pit on the bluff and an observation deck. A peaceful retreat in a park-like setting

A comfortable, full-size log home with a front porch swing, a fire pit, a picnic table and a gas grill. A full kitchen ready to cook, 1GB WiFi, and a loft with a cozy queen futon. Private parking with room for an RV or a hauler, and good weekday rates for work crews.

Coffee on the porch swing, steaks on the grill, and the fire pit once the sun goes down. Firewood is $5 a bundle from us, or from Summerfield Market down the road.

Experience mountain heritage and find tranquility

We craft memorable stays by celebrating the Plateau’s heritage. Our getaways are built on ancestral land where we have found arrowheads and safeguarded memories. This family property has had many uses since the early 1900s, and we are thrilled to share it with you: to enjoy, rest, unwind and commune with nature.

Our land has been handed down generationally, and we don’t take that lightly. We rehab each house ourselves, out of pocket, and we do it right: barn wood from an old sawmill, windows from an 1890s South Florida mansion, the just-right countertop even when it takes a little longer.

We do personal check-ins, so we’ll meet you at the door and answer anything you need. Come rest, or get busy with your planned fun.
