The house was beautiful and the views were beyond beautiful. The location was nice and peaceful. However, if you don’t like twisty roads, going up & down mountains this location is not for you. The only real complaint I have with the house is the upstairs was extremely hot. There is a fan but it doesn’t do much cooling down. Suggestions I have is putting a mini fridge on the upstairs deck and install baby gates. It’s a lot of stairs to worry about little ones. Being directly on Douglas Lake was nice. Getting to the dock was challenging due to the growth coming up around & in between the steps from the house to the dock. It is extremely challenging when the water level has dropped due to having a floating dock and when the level drops that portion of the dock is basically climbing up & down a steep hill but we managed. The trip was GREAT 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at this lakefront cabin on Douglas Lake in Sevierville. I originally planned on staying in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but once I realized we’d be driving 20–30 minutes to most things anyway, I thought—why not stay on a lake? I’m so glad we did. The cabin is in a quiet cove with clean, calm water and easy lake access, but still has beautiful open lake views. It felt like our own private resort and we honestly never wanted to leave. We grabbed groceries and a couple pounds of brisket and ribs from Bustin’ Butts BBQ and were set for the weekend. Our daughters loved the indoor pool and waterslide, and we loved the private dock and hot tub overlooking the lake. We only left once, and Dollywood was an easy 30-minute drive. The house was spotless, even better than the photos, and Rylee was a wonderful host. The perfect way to enjoy the Smoky Mountains without staying in the middle of the crowds. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

To say that this house is amazing is an understatement! All three families agreed that this is the coolest Airbnb we have ever stayed in, and the fact that it is right on Douglas Lake with its own dock and incredible view is just the icing on the cake. We had six adults and six kids, and the layout (all BR's have en suites) could not have been more perfect. The kids (ages 9-15) were in love with the waterslide/pool, arcade room, and boating/swimming in the lake. The adults really enjoyed evenings on the rooftop level with the hot tub and large TV, the large and functional kitchen space, and the private retreat feel of each bedroom and bathroom. The lake itself is beautiful and not nearly as busy as some of the other TN lakes I have been to, so we all enjoyed getting out on the pontoon and doing some cruising and tubing. The private dock was in great shape and is large enough to fit three boats (we had a 21' run-about and large pontoon docked there comfortably). Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The home was beautiful, and the views were absolutely breathtaking from the moment we walked in. The panoramic views of the lake and mountains were stunning and made the entire stay feel extra special. The indoor pool was a huge hit with our group, and the slide made it even more fun! One of the things we appreciated most was that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which provided plenty of privacy and made the stay comfortable for everyone. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Rylee was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway with incredible views!
