We truly enjoyed our stay! Our trip was a first to Tulsa and since we loved it, we will definitely be booking this home again when we return if we can. We were 5 minutes from the Outsiders House Museum which was our main reason for our trip (a must for fans). The neighborhood is gorgeous! Mature trees, easy access to anywhere we wanted to go and for my husband who loves to take daily walks - this neighborhood was perfect. The home itself is updated, extremely clean and cozy while keeping its charm and its history intact. We sat and watched light bugs in the back yard on our first night, the deck is a fabulous outdoor space. We wanted for nothing and absolutely loved this home. On a comical note, we decided to go for a walk and locked ourselves out at one point. The owner was so gracious and was so fast to respond and make sure we got back in. 5 Stars, all the way around. A great place to stay!
My husband was ok with our stay, but I was not. The bed was too soft for me, the washer and dryer did not work, and the house didn't feel very clean. E.g., the bath mat looked like it hadn't been washed, there is a big chipped out area of the tub, the shower curtain was a bit icky, there was food left on one of the plates, the plumbing was slow, and the walls and base needed a really good clean. It's an old house that needs some love I think.
This was a great place — on a nice tree lined street near TU. The house is lovely — nicely furnished and decorated. I was originally going to be here for 4 days, but needed to stay longer. Amber and Kate made it easy to extend, which I greatly appreciate. Overall, highly recommend!
The place was wonderfully cozy. We enjoyed sitting out in the sun on the patio. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bath tub spacious . Would happily stay there on our next visit to Tulsa!
