The stay was very enjoyable, the place has everything you need, it's home away from home. The view is amazing, seeing the botanical garden and sun rise. Although not much sun during the rest of the day, keeping the apartment cool. The bed is on slight soft end to my liking and had caused some back pain. The mattress is more medium soft. But my husband find the bed very comfortable, so it's really down to personal preference. The apartment is about 10-15 mins away from the nearest train station, but there's free city bus No. 40 and 50 running downstairs and can take you closer to the train station. There's plenty of restaurants options about 10 mins away and Coles too. We took a taxi to the place and been taken to the Star instead, and was directed to Queen's Wharf Residence lobby. It can be a little confusing with entrance, and also key pick up location is a about 2 blocks away. So I stayed at the lobby while my husband went to get the keys.
Loved our stay here - the city skyline views at night from the bedroom made for such restful evenings. We enjoyed the building amenities, and the location is super convenient and a short walk to the gardens, the mall, and to numerous cafes.
Great stay in the heart of Brisbane. Just cross the bridge and you’re in South Bank. The apartment was pristine, sparkling clean, and well-equipped with plenty of amenities. The host was friendly and responsive, and checked in via message to see if we needed anything. Free off-site parking was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Brisbane. Deserves a 10-star rating for cleanliness.
The view over the river is spectacular especially of the NYE fireworks.Unit is new, pristine, and very well equipped.The decor and view of unit is better than in the photos.Location near Southbank and CBD is unbeatable. Host is very responsive. Nice to have a small gift for our family. Negatives: The check in/ out took 1 hour for us. The corner store pick up location for the key, is still 2 blocks away so i had my family waiting in the car at the shop. Nowhere directly in front of the entrance of the Queens Wharf residence to drop off luggage (it is around the corner), so we parked in the assigned parking lot, which was also 1.5 blocks away (uphill) from the accommodations. There is only a lift on every second floor of the parking lot so dragged luggage up the ramp and then to the unit (all sweaty). Note there are different fobs to the lift and unit door (press the button on fob to unlock the door). The Queens Wharf area is also very confusing, different lifts and levels. Good Luck!
