Stay @ the Creek

We stayed here briefly after our house lost power during the bomb cyclone storm. Kathy was super responsive and flexible with check-in since we were trying to find a warm place for our two small kids. I was pleasantly surprised by all the kid-friendly amenities (everything down to a baby monitor!) and the cute welcome bath basket with bath toys. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed to make dinner. The rooms were cozy and comfy. Location was beautiful and in a quiet residential street, we didn't get the chance to enjoy the yard or trails nearby by my little one enjoyed the park that's only a 6 min walk away. Northgate Mall and grocery stores were close by. The only minor downside was this the lower level of a house so activity upstairs was VERY audible. We enjoyed our brief, but comfortable stay here.

Kathy was a wonderful host - excellent communication, and incredibly welcoming. We stayed in the downstairs unit. It was pristine - perfectly cleaned and everything brand new. There was a welcome kit, including toys and a bed, for our dog. There were both toys and a pack-n-play for our toddler. The kitchen was very well stocked, the rooms were nicely decorated, and the space really feels like a home. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the backyard fire pit, and several walks down to the creek. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in Seattle, still a close drive to everything, this is an excellent choice. What a gorgeous creekside stay! Kathy's place was peaceful, clean, and comfortable for our family of four. And so beautiful as well. A true forest getaway within the city! Plus, every amenity imaginable in the house. Great communication with our host!

This was such a wonder place to stay. Every detail was thought through. The beautiful space is welcoming and has everything you need. The kitchen had everything you would need - plus some. the beds were comfortable and the decorations throughout the entire place were very nice. There was a record player and helped create a relaxing atmosphere. Location was excellent to be able to get out for a quick walk out the back yard. We stayed in the bottom unit but did not hear the other occupant at all and having the entrances not be on the same side of the house made each unit seem very private. Kids loved the house and the yard/trails. Located a short drive to all the amenities and a quick drive to downtown. Overall very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.
