The Hidden Still

We chose Alexis’s cabin for our micro wedding, with 18 attendees and 12 staying all weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. When I saw the listing’s amenities and in-cabin entertainment, I knew this was where we wanted to hold our intimate celebration. There was plenty of room for all 18 of us to hang out without feeling crowded. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, and even the bunk beds were huge (possibly queen-sized, all four of them!). The theater was a big hit too. We’re not exactly dancers, so we turned it into a karaoke room and sang our hearts out at the reception. Everyone had a blast! The kitchen has tons of space for groceries and plenty of appliances for full meals. Alexis was responsive and accommodating with all my questions. Before booking, I told her I planned to host our ceremony here, and she replied quickly with lots of ideas for things to do nearby. I can’t recommend this place enough for a small gathering or family trip. Our guests loved it too!

This is a great place that fits tons of people. Alexis is a great host and very proactive and responsive if you need her. The place is on a beautiful and peaceful property that’s about 5min from a waterfall trail. It’s also about 10-15min to Ellijay or Blue Ridge if you want to get to town. Plenty of things to do in the house like the theater room and games available. This was a perfect trip and we will not hesitate to rebook if we decide to come back to the area.

The house is ideal for a large gathering. Enough bedrooms for people to have their space and then plenty of room to gather together. The kitchen is huge and well equipped for all kinds of cooking. The location is very private and scenic but is also convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge for dining, shopping and recreation. Highly recommend Cartecay float trip and Mercier Orchards as well as Ellijay Mushroom Farm.

This was my first time doing a cabin trip and this was the perfect place. The cabin was amazing with beautiful views, lots of space, and lots of activities to do. I had about 16 friends and the place can definitely accommodate more. I’ve made some great memories here for my birthday and I will definitely come here again for my next cabin trip.
