Great views. We enjoyed our stay, though I September trip was after the TVA drew down Lake Douglas. The cabin is very nice. Arcade games, fun, a hot tub, funner. A long flight of steps lead to a beach. I am sure it is beautiful when the lake is full. The hosts were very kind. It is a ways out, but really nothing more than we go downtown from our house.
The house was adorable and had great access to Douglas Lake with brand new steps that lead down to the shared dock and beach area. The beds were comfortable and the house is decorated nicely.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The decks absolutely stole the show- the view of Douglas Lake is breathtaking! Every morning we enjoyed coffee overlooking the lake while surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the forest. Most evenings we watched either a beautiful sunset or a thunderstorm roll across the water, both were equally magical. The cabin is spotless, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. The hot tub, arcade games, grill, and separate lower level for the kids made it a fantastic place for our family. We also loved the warm lake, private beach access, and our daily walks to the overlook and animal barn. For future guests, it might be helpful to know that the walk down to the beach involves a very large staircase. The stairs are steep inside the cabin too, which may be worth considering if you’re traveling with small children or pets. We also wish we’d known the General Store wasn’t open yet and your neighbors are close. None of that took away from an unforgettable week.
Beautiful lakefront cabin that absolutely exceeded expectations. The views were unreal, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. The cabin itself was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining this place. Easy check-in, great communication, and an overall seamless experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Thoughtfully laid out with a bright, welcoming space and plenty of room to relax, unwind, and enjoy time together. Water views and the beach/dock are season to the water levels of Douglas Lake. Please keep in mind these details may vary based on the time of year. This cabin is down near the water so you will have to drive down a sloped road to reach the property.
SUPPLIES: For your convenience we supply you with a limited starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. There are several shops you can visit nearby to purchase supplies for the duration of your stay. Guests are responsible for providing their own charcoal for the community firepit. Guests are responsible for providing their own propane for grills. There is often a supply left by previous guests, so we recommend checking before purchase. WiFi: Network: TBD Password: TBD BOATS: There is no boat launch or trailer parking available at the resort. The nearest public boat launch is 20 minutes away at TVA public boat ramp, Dandridge, TN 37725. SECURITY AT THE CABIN: Make sure to lock all doors when leaving the cabin. When you are away from the cabin, it’s best to keep your valuable items tucked away. OPERATING THE GRILL: Grill must be operated and closely monitored by a capable adult at least 23 years of age. Keep minors at a safe distance away from the grill when it is in use and still hot. Please do not move the grill off the fireproof pad. OPERATING THE HOT TUB: Prior to unlocking or using the hot tub, guests must completely review and understand both the hot tub safety warnings (last page of the rental contract) and the operating procedures below. How to use the hot tub: 1. Remove the hot tub cover. Always replace the hot tub cover when not in use. 2. Visually inspect the hot tub water prior to entering the hot tub. If the water looks cloudy, dirty, gritty, or you have any concerns about the water quality – Do not enter the hot tub. Please message us. 3. Please note that the evening you check-in, it is possible that the hot tub water may not be fully heated up to the set temperature, as the hot tub water is drained and refilled between guests and it takes several hours for the water to heat back up to the set temperature. 4. After each use of the hot tub, place the plastic bromine floating dispenser back in the water. For safety reasons, you must also immediately put the cover back over the hot tub. Do not leave children unsupervised around the hot tub. 5. Please make sure all towels are brought back inside the home after each use. 6. To adjust the temperature simply press the up and down arrows on the right side of the screen until the desired temperature is reached. To the right of the screen are the pumps 1 & 2 buttons which will turn the pumps on and off. The top button on the left of the screen is to access the settings. The middle button below the settings is to turn on the light followed by the audio control button on the bottom. SMOKING POLICY: We enforce a strict no smoking policy in the cabin. Should you wish to smoke OUTSIDE the cabin you may do so on the porches. Just a reminder: if the housekeeping staff has to pick up cigarette butts on the grounds, $25 will be deducted from your security deposit. OTHER CONVENIENCE ITEMS: ● Ironing board, iron and hairdryer. ● Limited cleaning supplies if you want to tidy up and extra trash can liners (below kitchen sink) ● Oven, microwave, refrigerator and blender ● Starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and soap. ● Bathrooms are supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. ● Anything you use beyond the starter kits will need to be supplied by you.
