Escape to the Creek

Solid stay overall. We asked for an extended checkout and it was provided, which we appreciated. The place is well decorated, and we got good use out of the fireplace and turntable. The kitchen is well stocked too. One heads up for future guests: this listing is just the top floor, and there are other guests on the bottom floor. We happened to have the place to ourselves, but the listing would have been clearer if it mentioned that upfront.

We really enjoyed staying at Kathy’s place with our young toddler. The home is clean and has everything you need. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood, and for us close to our friends we were visiting so location was perfect. There’s a park with playground walking distance too. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Our toddler enjoyed dancing to the record player. We’d stay again!

The Thorton Creek house gets all the big stuff right and all the little stuff right. Throw in a few surprising nice touches and this place was one of the best places we've ever rented. Beds were comfortable. Great neighborhood. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Creek trail is a few steps from the house. Throw blankets available. Treats and toys for dog provided. We'll definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here the week leading up to the wedding and truly slept a full 8-9 hours every night leading up to the big day because the space felt so much like home. It’s truly the best Airbnb stay we’ve ever had. Kathy and her team went above and beyond to make sure we felt celebrated and taken care of. The beds were so comfy! So nice to have the AC. The fenced it yard in the back was perfect for our pup! The neighborhood was quiet and so peaceful and unbelievably centrally located. And the bathroom and kitchens were the best stocked spaces I’ve ever experienced from an Airbnb. We cant wait to stay here again next time we’re in Seattle! Thanks so much, Kathy, for making what could’ve been such a stressful week, so full of peace!
