Douglas Lake Cabin, Private Dock, 30 Min Dollywood

We decided to take a last-minute trip to Douglas Lake with our four teenage and adult age children for Labor Day weekend. Rylee’‘s place was a relaxing and beautiful retreat for my wife and our kids for the weekend. Everything in the home was exactly as listed in the description. The lake was beautiful and having our own private dock where we rented a boat for the weekend was a big bonus in terms of convenience to get out on the lake. Rylee was super! Her communication was perfect for our weekend getaway. Unfortunately, we left a toiletry bag, and she has been super accommodating to ensure that we get that back even after our stay. If you are looking for a great cabin for a medium/ large size party….This is the one!! You won’t regret it!

Rylee was an amazing host! What a perfect lake getaway close to the Smokey mountains! The property was amazing and we enjoyed walking to the farm and being out on the lake all day! Super conveniently located and a really well taken care of property. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils you name it! Also so clean! One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in!

We had such a wonderful stay at this Douglas Lake property and made so many great memories during our time there. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning lake views. It was the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and take in the beauty of the surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the dock. It made keeping our boat there incredibly easy and gave us quick access to the water whenever we wanted to head out for an adventure. The home itself was comfortable, welcoming, and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved starting our mornings with a cup of coffee while looking out over the lake and ending our days watching the peaceful scenery after hours spent on the water. The combination of the cozy home, beautiful setting, and convenient lake access made this a truly memorable trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable lakefront retreat.

Our family’s stay at the lakefront cabin located on Douglas lake was superb. We enjoyed the picturesque views and relaxing atmosphere. The layout was perfect to accommodate for a larger group without sacrificing space or comfort. We were thrilled to join in on the fun within the arcade room. We would advise others that in order get to the cabin one must travel on roads with fairly steep hills, which is to be expected with any lake property. But, the journey is worth it once you make it to the property. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the city but this was quickly accessible with a half hour commute. Definitely a recommended stay for any other fellow travelers searching for a scenic, spacious and comfortable lakefront vacation.
