Pool Studios@Due East

Joe's place was very nice, but would caution anyone who filtered through "entire place". While the description says the studios are part of a larger residence, it fails to explain they are in his back yard. We booked this place for the pool/garden so we could have our family come over and spend the days with us as we were visiting with our newborn. We were later told during the stay we weren't allowed to have other people on the property, which was not explained in the 'rules' but was charged for. The owner came out on the balcony or accessed the pool shed behind the studio during our stay. He also came down to the courtyard studio and 'popped' his head in where my mum was in bed. To me, this was quite intrusive and an invasion of privacy. Mel is the property manager and does all the communicating through the app. She was very understanding when I ended up bringing my small dog and I just paid the pet fee, but unfortunately, due to no WIFI it was hard to communicate with them

Due East is such a fantastic place nestled within the most spectacular location. The studios were as described - stylish and comfortable and with all of the amenities we could need. Mel was such a great host - she provided great ideas for us to do In the region and was always at the end of the phone when needed. Thanks so much for the most relaxing and wonderful stay!

Great location and perfect for couple who want their own spaces! Nelson beach right at their door step!
