Welcome to INN THE SKY RETREAT, where you get something very different from a typical large vacation rental: two completely private homes on two scenic acres, surrounded by spectacular mountain and basin views. This unique setup is perfect for family reunions, multi-generational vacations, holidays, couples traveling together, or groups of friends who want to enjoy time together without giving up personal space and privacy. Wake up to breathtaking views across the Tularosa Basin, breathe in the fresh mountain air, watch for abundant wildlife, and enjoy the peaceful feeling of being away from it all. Days can be as adventurous or relaxing as you choose. Explore Cloudcroft, hike the trails of Lincoln National Forest, or make a day trip to White Sands National Park. Back at the retreat, fire up the grills, relax on the decks and patios, watch the wildlife, or gather around the fire pits as the sun disappears and the stars take over the sky. With very little light pollution, the nighttime sky is truly something special. THE MAIN HOUSE The spacious main house comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and offers: • 4 private bedrooms • 2 King beds and 3 Queen beds • 3 full bathrooms • Spacious great room with panoramic windows • Large viewing decks overlooking the mountains and basin • Dedicated office with high-speed Wi-Fi • Attached two-car garage The great room is designed for gathering, relaxing and enjoying the incredible scenery through the panoramic windows. Step outside onto the large decks to take in the views, enjoy your morning coffee, or watch the wildlife moving through the property.
