The deck
From the private deck you look across the garden to the sea and the Bruce’s Beauties surf break. With a good swell, watch the surfers; on calm evenings, watch the light go. The St Francis Community Gardens make a green backdrop.
The annex
The two extra single beds sit in an open-plan annex off the main room, so children are close by but have a corner of their own. The same layout suits four friends just as well, with a table and four chairs and a built-in counter for breakfast or work.
Shared with the house
A tree-lined path runs from The Oyster Bed down to the beach and Bruce’s, the café on the water. Back at the house, the infinity pool has a built-in water seat facing the ocean, and breakfast is included in the rate.
