Montrose

The stay was absolutely beautiful, I don’t think I will ever forget the reflection of the picturesque sunset on the water as we enjoyed the bonfire. Thank you for having us stay! The house was in great shape, the beds were comfortable and inviting, the multiple TVs were a plus and there was so much space to get together, chat and play board games. The dogs also had an amazing time swimming and exploring. Thank you so much!

By far, one of the best holiday rentals we've stayed in. The owners thought of everything, from providing plenty of games for those indoor rainy days, separate living areas so the kids can hang out while the parents have their separate space all the way to the outdoor activities of the kayak and SUP which my kids absolutely loved. The view in the backyard was beautiful and serene, with the added bonus of the firepit where we roasted marshmallows at night. Being able to bring our pet dog was a great positive, the fenced in yard gave me piece of mind he was safe and so much space for him to stretch his legs. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city rush and looking to relax and reset.

The house was beautifully decorated and well kept. Excellent communication with Mel and Alana and they were really helpful. The water was so peaceful and so nice to paddleboard on at sunset. Overall a really good experience and the house plan is well laid out for large families

There is so much to love about Montrose! It was the perfect home to come together with extended family to celebrate a very special occasion. The outlook from the back of the property was so peaceful and we loved sitting around the fire pit by the water and taking in the view from the indoor living spaces. The house had everything we could possibly need to cater for 10 people and was presented beautifully. A short stroll down the road was the local IGA, coffee shop and pub, and if you don’t feel like cooking, the local pizza restaurant delivers the most delicious pizzas! Mel and Alana were perfect hosts, their communication was so responsive and accommodating. Our only regret was not staying an extra few days so we could make use of all the activities available to us! We did have a few intense games of Uno and table tennis though! Thank you Montrose for the special memories made, we’ll be back one day to make more!
