Start with one simple plan, then leave room for a swim back at the house. Check opening hours, reservations and weather before heading out.

Plan your beach day

Flagler Beach is approximately 7 miles from the house. Drive to your chosen public access point; the home is not beachfront.

Varn Park — 3665 N. Oceanshore Boulevard, Flagler Beach
A practical option with parking, ADA parking spaces, beach access, restrooms and outdoor showers. Check current access conditions before setting out.

Jungle Hut Park — 125 Jungle Hut Road, Palm Coast
A scenic spot for a shoreline walk, shorebirds and relaxing by the ocean, with paved parking, restrooms and outdoor showers. The county cautions that rocks and possible strong currents make this beach poorly suited for swimming.

Before you go
Check weather, beach flags, surf conditions and any park closures. Choose a lifeguarded swimming area when available and follow posted guidance. Facilities and access can change after storms. For Gamble Rogers and other state parks, check the official Florida State Parks page before your visit.

Bring sun protection, drinking water and beach essentials. Allow extra time for parking on weekends and event days.
