Grand Lux Captain's House Tacoma

The house is amazing. We had 14 people including 6 children and didn’t want for anything. The only thing I wish it had was an outside table. But the fire pit was and cornhole was fun!

This Air Bnb was everything that was listed and more. The furniture is beautiful and the place has its own unique charm. It was very clean and housed my group perfectly. If we were to come to Tacoma again, this would be our first choice.

All we can say is we lucked out finding this gem of a place! Glen (the owner) was always very responsive to questions and accommodating to our request. The house/property was spacious, very clean and well stocked. The property sits on a hill/cliff and has an amazing view and we also got to enjoy the spectacular show of July 4th fireworks all across Tacoma and neighboring towns. We were in town for a family wedding and this place provided a wonderful respite for our family during/ after a hectic wedding prep and celebrations. Our family and visitors are already thinking of booking this space for our next gathering in Seattle/Tacoma area (ie if we were "not naughty" :)) Thank you Glen and Johanna for sharing your wonderful space!

We had a fabulous time at The Captain’s House! The decorations were on point for the theme and clean and comfortable. It was well appointed, complete with games and cards! The view was truly amazing and we loved sitting outside at the fire pit having good relaxed conversation with family and friends. The deck was also great to enjoy the view and sit on the porch swing. 💯 recommend!
