Lola and Jon’s home is just as described. It is brand new. It’s very clean and beautifully decorated with a fun Christmas theme that extends out to the back porch and large backyard. Our stay included two couples. We found the floor plan perfect, as it allowed for the privacy desired at the end of the day, each with our well appointed rooms with king sized beds! The quality of the bed linens was very nice and the mattresses were so extremely comfortable. The home is approx. 5 min. to the Historic District. We found parking in the Old Historic downtown garage both reasonable ($20 all day) and convenient for our day of exploring downtown and enjoying the Nights of Lights. You can tell that Jon and Lola take great pride in their home and their priority is to make their guests’s stay comfortable and easy. They offer quality essentials like name brand toilet tissue, nothing generic or cheap. The house rules are simple and few—more than reasonable for such a beautiful home.
We had an amazing stay at La Costa in St. Augustine! This home truly exceeded our expectations. The owners have thought of every detail to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease throughout your stay. We especially loved the thoughtfully labeled kitchen, which made it so easy to find everything we needed. The well-stocked spice collection, small appliances, and coffee setup were perfect for preparing meals, and the basket filled with extras for anything you might have forgotten was a lovely touch. The space itself is incredibly peaceful and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind. We had so much fun with the yoga mats, games, and the record player that provided the soundtrack for our dance parties. It’s clear the owners put a lot of care and attention into making this home a memorable and enjoyable retreat. Highly recommend La Costa for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway!
This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The amount of thought, care, and attention to detail that went into every single aspect of this home was beyond impressive. From the decor to the amenities, everything felt so intentional and beautifully curated. We felt so welcomed, so at home, and so comfortable from the moment we walked in. The location was perfect — just minutes from town (everything we needed was 3–10 minutes away), yet it felt peaceful, secluded, and wonderfully quiet. It was the best of both worlds. The hosts were incredibly responsive, attentive, and kind. The welcome guide they sent was one of the most thoughtful and helpful we’ve ever received — full of local recommendations, house details, and little touches that made everything so easy. We can’t recommend this place enough — it was a truly exceptional stay.
The perfect home: modern, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort you could wish for. Every cupboard is labeled to show exactly what’s inside, a thoughtful little detail that makes a real difference. When we arrived, we were welcomed by soft lighting and music, such a lovely touch that we had never experienced before. The hosts provide everything you need for the beach, including towels, chairs, and all the essentials, along with so many useful little extras that you might have forgotten to pack. We have never received such a warm and thoughtful welcome at any Airbnb. This place truly exceeded all our expectations! Highly recommended!
This home was more than what we expected! From the booking process to the checkout time, our host was responsive. We felt at home! It was clean. It was spacious enough for my family. Anything that we needed or may have forgotten, was provided for. Any issues, which were not a big deal (small things) were handled immediately. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everything was close..the beach only 10-12 mins away. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. This was by far the best Airbnb I have stayed in! I will definitely be visiting again with no apprehension! Thank you Lola and Jon!!!!
We stayed at Lola and Jon’s while in town for a friend’s wedding, and it was fantastic! It was extremely clean, close to all the places we needed to go to, and had the perfect layout for our group. Our family of 5 took one section of the house, while our friend took the back room and it was a perfect set up. They also provided many amenities, even some we did not think of such as ear buds and eye masks. We would definitely stay again if we go back to St. Augustine!
Encanto was the most perfect stay for the 5 of us girls celebrating our bestie Krishna’s bachelorette. The entire place was immaculate, beautiful, EVEN BETTER than the photos, and literally within 5 minutes of our plans (restaurants, activities, shopping, historic district). We honestly couldn’t have asked for better and all of us would absolutely return! Our hosts were also super easy to talk to and helpful. 10/10!
Gorgeous home! We loved every minute in it. The light wood and color palette of beige, and light blue, made the whole family feel at peace. Exceptionally clean, organized and tasteful. We slept great, watched movies together and drove a short distance to all the touristy places. Hosts were fantastic: communicative, proactive, and responsive. It will definitely be memorable for all!
Stayed here for my wedding weekend and the place I got ready for my wedding in. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. It was clean and everything was labeled for easier access to what you need. Very responsive and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much!
This Airbnb was perfect for a little weekend get away! The host really thought of everything when it came to making this place cozy. We really enjoyed the firepit and the waffle maker especially. Thank you for having us! (:
