A restored stone manor crowning its own green hill in inland Istria — nine rooms, a chapel-turned-library, and terraced gardens that fall away to vineyards on every side. Half agriturismo, half small grand hotel.
The house The manor dates to 1782 and kept its bones: stone staircases, four-meter ceilings, shuttered windows framing the valley. Rooms are furnished from Istrian estate sales — no two alike. The hill The entire hilltop is ours. Walk the cypress lane down to the vineyard, swim in the spring-fed cistern pool, or take a truffle hunt into the Motovun forest with our neighbor Ivan and his dog.
House rules • Treat the home like your own. • Quiet hours 10pm–8am out of respect for neighbors. • No smoking indoors. • Please start the dishwasher before you leave.
