The Secret Box Cabin in Blue Ridge, GA was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we pulled through the beautiful iron gate, I knew this place was special. The property is completely fenced and surrounded by woods, with gorgeous trees, gardens, a little pond and bench, and unique little details everywhere you look. Half the house almost feels tucked into the earth, which adds to that secret-hideaway feeling. Inside is absolutely beautiful with a romantic French feel, and Shirley truly thought of everything. The secret boxes and codes were so much fun, and the little touches were incredible, from perfume and cologne in the bathroom to toothbrushes, coffee and lattes. If you forgot something, chances are she already thought of it. The secret dungeon was an experience all its own, and the hot tub tucked beneath the pergola with the outdoor shower nearby was a whole vibe. ❤️ Matt and Shirley created something private, romantic, mysterious and completely different from anywhere we’ve ever stayed. One little idea from me: with all those gorgeous trees, collect a few of the changing leaves and preserve them in a frame when you get home 🍁 It would be a beautiful little piece of Blue Ridge to add to an already unforgettable place. We came for our 25th anniversary and left with memories we’ll be talking and laughing about for years. Absolutely loved it. ❤️ Thank you Matt & Shirley
The secret chamber is fantastic. A perfect place for couples looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life and need a place to reconnect. The property is beautiful. The photos don’t do the cabin justice. Shirley and Matt clearly put a lot of thought and love into it. The cabin has everything you need to relax and focus on each other. One of the best getaway experiences we’ve had in our 26 years of marriage.
It was exactly what we need to have adult play time and connect during the hectic holidays. Everything was perfect from the peaceful and beautifully decorated cabin. It was really nice, we will be back, and recommend to others.
If you hate surprises and like to plan like I do, I am here to give you some peace of mine! The secret cabin is*worth*it!!! The cabin, the privacy, game and clues all exceeded our expectations. We had a blast eating at new places all over town and they didn’t disappoint either. We shopped, explored the orchards and even took a hike to see a waterfall. Trust me, if there’s availability you need to snag those dates. Absolutely totally worth it!
